The fire crackled low, casting shadows on her face. Elara. Sitting there with her knees pulled close, spoon halfway to her lips, looking completely unaware of the storm boiling inside me. Or maybe she was just pretending not to notice...something she was very, very good at.
It’s been three days since Aria’s little threat, and still, not a whisper from her. Not a claw raised. Not a hair out of place. And that silence?
