Lucian’s POV
“Mom, I want her,” I groaned, nearly pulling my hair out as I stared at the magical mirror shimmering against the wall. “It’s not fair—she threatened to reject me.”
The mirror flickered for a second, then stabilized, revealing the one woman who had always terrified me more than war, witches, or the headmaster’s lectures.
