"Lucian!" I snapped, my voice sharp and trembling. "What the actual hell was that?! You cut off his hand!"
Lucian didn’t flinch. Didn’t even blink. He just turned his head slightly, that maddeningly calm smile still playing on his lips as if I hadn’t just screamed in his face.
"Weren't you going somewhere, little venom?" he asked gently, voice like silk wrapped around steel. "You should run along. I'll take care of this silly thing that dared to touch you."
