“Why are you here?” I ask him.
Why in the name of Mary is this man sitting here comfortably on the exact day I am supposed to have my interview ??? What are the chances ?
“Why are you all angry? Are you mad at me ?” He asks me.
“Yes I am. Why won’t I be ? We agreed that you were not going to meddle in my life and try to help me. I wanted to do it on my own with my own skills. Get it because of my hard work not because someone put in a good word for me.” I tell him.
“I never agreed to that. You said it and I just didn’t say anything. Julia, I get you want to do things your own way and I admire your strength. We both know that you merited it and you are capable of working there. What does a little push in that direction changes?!” He asks.
