Coming from work, driving by, people at work, college students, travelers all walk of life .New shoes offers og a bottle water and a cigarette, not paying attention to the souls that judge. Different shades of black on his hands probably from many months without washing them. chapter 3- " Drugs and Willing" As they approach their destination, now all the places to eat are closed. That's when they can check the garage cans for food,some time money. Its funny how homeless people can afford drugs and willing to look in garage cans at restaurants. I guess some people just don't do what their going to do with their blessings. January in Tempe Town Lake is much like San Francisco California in the day time. Mouth full of a subway sandwich, kenfolk said,the ex drug dealer and the ex football player chapter 5 - "Connection Point" "Little boy Joe, that boy alright" with a chocolate chip cookie stuffed in his mouth approaching kenfolk new shoes said " where is the f**k boy, did he leave for today" asked new shoes. Og get's settled in his spot in front of the big shiny building. Look across you can see bus drivers, real police , and regular people coming to and from work. Light rail , busses coming in and out, the connection point. So the street lights will come on thirty long minutes after the sun has gone away. Kenfolk said I'm the only one hungry tonight, every one laugh's Chapter 6- "Down town Tempe " Normally Brandon would ask what joe left , because his favorite, what his wife use to make. A sub with three meat's , cheese, lettuce , all the fixing's and a side of chips. But it seem like this time, he just grabbed what ever new shoes didn't kill. Henry said " I always call the police on these bum's, they don't do nothing"..The bunch looking at f**k boy while they talk to a customer asking for a cigarette.... He would always speak treating the bunch with respect even though their situation was very bad.
