Elaine I could hear the soft music of the orchestra announcing my presence. All rose to their feet as Grandmother's frail hand found mine, and we proceeded into the church. The train of my veil trailed softly behind as we entered the church. Alexander was far ahead, but I could see him at the altar. His stare searching for mine. We played this game when we were kids; we got married a thousand times. His little hands dragged me around the altar whenever I tried to run mid-wedding for the sweets his mother made. Our parents were no longer around, so there was no sweet to distract me this time around. I smiled brightly as we approached the altar and his presence became clearer. His dark grey eyes had the softest look, the brightness behind them like a morning sun peeking behind the clouds
