Aubrey finished out the day at the office and was in complete and total shock for most of it as Vivian continued to be nice to her. Who knew all she had to do was quit to make the woman show her some respect? She had gotten in her car and drove straight to Willow Cove. For once in her life she knew exactly what she wanted. She didn’t care about the bad memories of her past, the heartache and heartbreak. She only cared about a future with Marco.
She turned down Main Street and searched for his car in the parking lot as she passed the boardwalk, but it wasn’t there, so she continued to his place. When she got there his car wasn’t there. Her heart sank a little. She wanted to see him, hear his voice, and see that damn smirk of his that drove her wild.
