“Okay, what the hell,” Aggie said as they entered the hotel room with Priest. “Why is Arma Dei out to get us?”

Alana had already called Priest with a report on the day’s activities, taking him away from the translation of Nizza’s journal. Instead Priest turned his attention to the group in question to have a report as soon as possible.
“I’m going on what you said earlier,” Priest said, consulting his phone for information. Arma Dei has a long record of violent tactics. Seems like they’ve zeroed in on the Paletti Notebook and they’re trailing us to find it, then probably planning to eliminate us from the equation.”
