AIDEN’S POV
I stood with Enzo and Derek, still in shock about what had happened to Arielle. We had thought that announcing her as our mate would put an end to the bullying, but clearly, we were wrong.
“I can’t believe this happened,” Enzo growled, his fists clenched at his sides. “Whoever did this is going to pay.”
Derek nodded in agreement. “We have to find out who’s responsible and make sure they never hurt Arielle again.”
I couldn’t bring myself to speak. My heart was heavy with worry for Arielle. I couldn’t stand the thought of her being hurt anymore. We had hurt her enough already, and now this.
Enzo’s anger was palpable, but I could see the worry in his eyes too. He cared about Arielle just as much as we did.
