ARIELLE’S POV
As I walked out of the school gates, I was surprised to see Enzo, Derek, and Aiden waiting for me in their car. I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do, but then they rolled down the window and called out to me. “Hey, Arielle, hop in, we’ll give you a ride home,” Enzo piped up.
I reluctantly agreed and climbed into the back seat. The atmosphere in the car was tense, with none of us saying a word. I kept my eyes fixed on the passing scenery, feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I still couldn’t believe they were being nice to me now, after all the bullying and humiliation I had endured at their hands.
