" Can I stay here with you tonight?" She whispers.
My heart starts to race. The crazy storm of emotions I'm feeling right now is insane. I want to hold her, kiss her, show her all the love she deserves; but I know she is hurting right now. I know I can't take advantage of her emotional state.
" I can take you back to your family's house if you want. "
" NO!! I can't go back there! not after I was just there telling my mom how Jax is great and I see our relationship going the distance.. I can't go back there like this, looking like a failure once again. A fool who keeps falling for the wrong man. Not again.."
My heart is breaking for her. I hate seeing her this way. I reach out and pull her into a hug and hold her for a while.
