Nathaniel watched Eamon and Alain ride out from the stable yard, after the other men said they'd be back in time for dinner. They were going to have a look at the cottage they grew up in with an eye to adding to the structure—both for a family Eamon hoped to have, and for servants.
Laethan turned to him, and shaking his head. “It’s a good thing that Lady Charlotte agreed to marry Eamon.” Nate had never doubted Eamon's ability to make the lass see his way, and agree to take him as a husband. He had an effortless way of charming the ladies.
