27 Penelope Penny set a chair on the far side of Isabel’s bed for Charlotte to have upon her return, then took the remaining chair from the little breakfast table and placed it next to the bed. Isabel was feeling much better this day, and Penny and Charlotte let their friend choose how they’d like to spend this afternoon.
