The Another World
George is a normal high school student who likes to study History. Everything is normal, he goes to school everyday, eat lunch on a cafeteria, sometimes he goes to the library to read some history books and after his class, he goes home.
George doesn't have many friends, all he got was his bestfriend Benjamin and his childhood friend Martha. Both George and Benjamin likes to play games, especially FPS games or First Person Shooter games. One day on his way to school, Benjamin called him not too far from his location. Benjamin approach him and they talk each other about the game they gonna play tonight while walking to their class.
After the first half of the class, It's lunch time. Benjamin invited him to eat on cafeteria. While they are eating their lunches, a familliar acquintance joined them in their table. It's a girl with brown hair. She was Martha, George's childhood friend and looks like Benjamin doesn't know her yet,
"Who is she?" Benjamin asked,
"Umm, she's my friend. A childhood friend of mine." George said,
"I'm Martha." Martha said.
Benjamin was amazed by Martha's beauty,
"Men, didn't know you have a pretty girlfriend." Benjamin said,
"A childhood friend." George said,
"A childhood girlfriend." Benjamin said,
George stared at Benjamin a little but then Benjamin answered,
"What? She's a girl though." Benjamin said,
"No, that's not how it works." said by George.
After that, Martha interrupt their conversation and said,
"Ok guys, enough of that. By the way, I need you George to meet me at the entrance of school after the class." Martha said,
"Why? Is there something wrong?" George asked,
"No, I just have something I need to tell you." Martha said.
Then she leaves. Benjamin tease him that Martha might confess to him. But then George said that It's not gonna happen and he also said that he is not the type of guy that Martha likes.
lunch is over, It's time to attend the class. after all the classes. Benjamin reminded George about the game they gonna play later, but George said that he needs to meet Martha first. Benjamin answered him and said that he almost forgot about that. He said goodluck to him, George said that It's not gonna be a confession. Benjamin said "Well, Let's see about that.".
Benjamin leaves and George proceed to meet up with Martha at the school entrance. He saw Martha not too far from him, He hesitated as he walks towards her. When he reach her, he ask Martha,
"Um, hey. How long have you been here?" George said,
"Just a while ago." Martha answered,
"Um, about earlier? You said that you have something to tell me." George said,
"Yeah about that..." Martha said.
She stop for a moment which made George thinks that she might really confess,
"I need you to help me with my study in social studies?" Martha said,
George kinda felt disappointed because he thought that Martha will confess to him and George kinda likes her since childhood. After that, George agreed to help her and Martha thanked him.
Later on, George went to a nearby bookstore to check some books about history and some astronomy. While he was choosing books, a certain book caught his interest. It was titled "Bridge we don't need but we deserve.", He felt like something seems off and even the title doesn't make sense at all. He said that the author might created that book just for fun.
Then he bring the book back to the shelf and leaves the store. While he was on his way home, he tried to cross the road. While crossing, he received a phone call. he picked up his phone, It was his uncle John. But while he was talking with his uncle in the phone, he didn't notice a truck approaching him very fast.The truck honked loudly but George didn't able to react anymore. Until the truck almost hit him but before he even got hit by the truck, something happened in the surrounding. It was some kind of glitch happening in the surrounding and George is confused about what is happening right now.
Before he knew it, he was suddenly passed out.
After a couple of minutes, George wakes up in a unfamiliar place. George is still confused about where he was right now and what is he doing in this unfamiliar place. Until he became conscious and remember that a truck almost hit him. He ask if he was really got hit by the truck and died? He thought that this place might be the heaven and he died from an accident.
But then, he felt like he was still alive. He is confused about the place. Until he saw some floating islands above him and wondering,
"What are those things? Floating islands?" George said.
He is not sure but he think that he might be on another world? Of course he didn't believe at first but then he think very carefully. If he was still alive and there are floating islands which doesn't exist in real world. It might be another world or a parallel world and he might triggered something and accidentally transported into this world. He doesn't know how or why but looks like that is the case right now as he said.
What could this world be?
