Sébastien and Drake finally arrive at his parent's home. What they didn't expect was for the house to be in full swing. So this is the reason mother wanted me home. It wasn't because she missed me, she had other plans for me. The question is what were those plans. I turn to look at Drake did you know about this. He looked as confused as me, because he notices not only his parents car, his younger brother is here also. You didn't know about this. Man I have no clue what so ever, I was not informed of a meeting between our parents. Well we are here now there is no since debating what's going on. We both get out of the car and make our way to the house. With Vampires throughout the house everyone is aware of our arrival. My mother opens the door and greets us. My mother senses the seriousness to my voice and says okay son, I'll have your father meet you in the study. Is this something we need the council for. No mother but I really must speak to dad. Ok, son you and Drake go to the study and I'll have your father meet you in there. Thanks mom, as she turns to go I see a glimmer of worry across her face, but as quick as a blink it's gone. Me and Drake make our way to the study to wait on my father. What do you think is going on here. I wasn't aware of any meeting, so what's really going on here Drake says. I don't know but something is definitely up. Guess we have to wait and see. The door to the study opens and in walks my father followed by my mother. Should have know she would not be left out. Hello son, your mother tells me you need to speak with me. Drake, did you speak to your parents, my father asks. No sir, I will on the way out. Mom dad what's going on here. My mother smiles, it's just a gathering of family and friends. I look at Drake and he smirks, thinking what I'm thinking that this was way more than a gathering of family and friends. My father asks what is it you wanted to speak to me about? I think I may have found my mate and needed your advice. My mother squeals, her face is lit up. I look at Drake then back at my parents. Well you see she is human and her name is Elexsia Bradburn. My mother and father look at each other and my mother sighs. What is it I ask. You would never be able to go around her if she decides she doesn't want to turn. Because as you know once her mind is wiped, if she ever comes into contact with you she will start to remember and I'm told this is very painful and could cause permanent damage to the brain of a human. My mother has a worried expression on her face, so I ask what is it mother. If she doesn't agree then you will have to wait another century for a mate. I never wanted that for you. My father turns to Drake, you better go and talk to your parents. He shakes his head and heads to the living area where everyone is gathered. My father grabs my arm and says I'm happy you found your mate son. Thanks dad, tell Drake I'm in the car, I'm really not in the mood to be around guest tonight. I understand I will give your greetings to everyone. Thanks dad I love you. I head to Drake's SUV to wait on him. Ten minutes later he gets in the car. He starts the engine and we make our way back to Rosalee's.
