“I have Nate and Xander’s attendant on the second floor. I will explain later, ma’am. We will look up here,” RuAnn said through the coms. Cassielle let slip a word she had not said in twenty years. A photon blast shattered a window behind Cassielle, and a soldier pushed her to the ground. She got up and returned fire to the approaching assailant. There were about two dozen attackers that had surrounded the house. They managed to get everyone in the shelter before the alarms were triggered. Well, almost everyone.
