Valkyrie is the human worlds best fighter, protector but also, their best assassin. She maybe young, at a mere age of 18, but her name alone is feared amongst even the supernatural. She was raised to not feel love or affection, and soon believed she never would.

It came as a curious surprise to Valkyrie, when she received a request from an Alpha of the Shadow Pack. A were pack, hidden amongst the humans. She’d been only once before when she was no more than 5 years old, with her mother. She doesn’t remember what it was about but she’ll never forget what it looked and felt like. Peace. Happiness. She didn’t hesitate when accepting request for a meeting with them.

Damon Shadows is the soon to be Alpha of the Shadow Pack. Young, handsome, a warrior. His father, Alpha Phillip Shadow, disapproved of Damon becoming a warrior and fighting alongside his people. He wanted Damon to be a Politician, headstrong and vain. To wear the royals clothes and attend balls, to find a wealthy and popular Luna.

Damon couldn’t be more opposite. When he turned 18, his mate Selena rejected and left him for a wealthy politician. Since then, he doesn’t believe he will ever be granted a second chance mate, or find the one right for him. So he became a strong warrior and fights against rivalling packs, rogue wolfs and other supernaturals. What has he got to lose? That was, until he met her.

Will Valkyrie remain a cold blooded killer? Or, will she find the love and affection she so secretly desires? And will it be Damon who provides that? Or will she perhaps find her mate amongst the wolfs.
