A week and a few days had passed since the incident at the pack house. Since the nightwalker attack. And since I had nearly died.
And now, finally, I was fit enough to resume my duties as Darius's guard.
I had gone to the training ground this morning to ease back into the routine, to test my body and see how much strength I had regained. But as soon as I stepped through the entrance, everything stopped.
All eyes turned to me.
