I stared at my hand, watching it tremble slightly as the reality of what I had done settled over me.
I should not have struck him. I knew that immediately, even as my hand was still in motion. But Sebastian had crossed a line. He had insulted me, mocked my mating ceremony, acted as though I had any choice in the matter.
The truth was, I had no choice. Not really.
