9 | Superior

ASURA'S POV

"And we're actually inside a mansion. This is ridiculous. We should just let them go to the presidential suite." Nadia seems to be nervous for some reason. "Why are you so nervous? Don't be. This is my house as well. I have a mansion in every single country in this human world."

With the amount of money I have, I can afford to buy a whole country if I want to. But, being the superior one in the underworld is enough for me. I don't think I can handle a human country that has more rules that the underworld itself.

"Mother, I manage to gather 6 of my brothers including myself." Telling Caia to gather her brothers is such a wise decision. "Seem like some of you didn't manage to beat your own sister in battle." Some looked away including Israfel himself and he's my oldest son!

"Why are we here, Mother?" Israfel asked. "We're going to entertain a group of human guest, Nadia's family. I want you all to be in your best behavior. And please refer my servant as your stepmother. Understand?" My children's expression was priceless.

Their shocking face always amused me.

"Is this a joke, Mother?" Israfel asked. My other sons didn't dare to ask me when I gave them my glare. "Caia, explain to your brothers about this sudden changes. I need to change to a more appropriate attire upon meeting my 'in law'." I chuckled.

"I'm sure your family will arrive shortly. You can claim everything in this mansion as yours. I'm beginning to hate your family to the core." I turned my back facing her and went up the stairs. Honestly, I want to kill her family in a heartbeat.

"Asura, are you sure it's wise to let that human entered this mansion? This is the main mansion that has the portal to the underworld and the heaven's territory." Agramon has a point.

"I sealed every portal that may pop up. This is a total lockdown. Only my personnel will have the power to open the portal. Other than them, those who attempt will die instantly." I smiled.

"You even took this measure to ensure her family's safety, Why?" I shrugged my shoulder.

"Maybe because I want her to feel happy even for once. You'll know what I mean later on." I stripped my clothes and went to clean myself. After I'm done, I proceed to put on the dress Agramon prepared for me.

"You usually wearing your business suit upon meeting a human. Why a dress all of the sudden?" Agramon asked as she helped her ruler out on the dress.

"I introduce myself as Nadia's partner in the last meeting. I was angry at her family for being so hostile towards her. I'm this close to killing them too." Especially her mother.

Even devil has more humanity than that trash. "Seems like peasants just came to our humble home." Agramon was looking outside of the windows. "Your right. Their aura, wow. Even devils don't have his kind of aura. Are you sure they're human, to begin with?" Agramon chuckled.

"Their desire for this worldly pleasure is beyond my imagination. Once they die they should be knocking on our door, I can assure them that. But, if they acted this way throughout their life, even I have to decline their soul. Heaven should take them since that's how heaven acted to everyone."

Agramon did laugh. "You should go now before they roast Nadia. I don't think Caia and the rest of my children will handle it properly if Nadia being a push to the corners." She's right.

I walked out from my room with Agramon and right before I even step my foot on the stairs, I heard Nadia's sister commented.

"Where's your girlfriend? See mother she's lying to her teeth and she even dragged us all here for no purposes at all!" I wish I could kill this b***h!

"Oh Nadia, they're here? How rude of me to be late to greet my own guest." I announced myself when I descended the stairs. "Who are you suppose to be?" Nadia's little sister immediately covered their older brother's mouth when he rudely commented on me.

"That's Asura Demonix, the CEO of Demonix Conglomerate." She whispered. I use my eyes to tell Nadia to be by my side. When she does, I grabbed her hands and wrapped them around my waist. "Is this your family, Honey?" Nadia nodded, too nervous to say anything.

"So it was real? Is everything real? How did you manage to have all of this?" Asked the oldest brother. "She saves me from a group of thug a while back. I was grateful and decided to help her when I learned that her own family abandoned her." I keep a smile on my face.

People always hate my sharp tongue trait. But that's okay, as long as I can tell them that what they did to Nadia is not something a human should be doing.

"Shall we all proceed to the waiting room until dinner is served? I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we asked our chef to prepared something extravagant today. He needs his time for the perfect dish." Nadia and I lead the way towards the waiting room where my children is waiting.

"Good timing. Meet my children. Although, this is not all of them. Kids, introduce yourself to our guest." I smiled and watched as my kids stood up from their seat.

"I am Israfel Demonix. This is my brothers, Kokabiel, Kushiel, Leliel, Matariel, and Remiel. That's our sister, Caia. We do have another sister but she's currently in Japan and five more brothers." I can see their reaction as shocked as everyone who learned I have this many kids.

"You look so young." I smiled at Nadia's father.

"Well looks can be deceiving, am I right." I chuckled. "You even met the president. I'm impressed." To be impressed by this kind of human being makes me want to throw up! Ugh! "Oh that, it was sometime last year." I sighed mentally.

I noticed Nadia looking down at her feet this whole time. My servant, the lesson I had prepared for your family is only just begun.

Just wait and see.

Since I'm too lazy to remembered everyone's name, I just put an alphabet on top of everyone's head. Nadia's older brother is A, and her second older brother is B. A is a bastard and a politician while B is a d**k and a scientist, a boy genius when he was young.

I turned my attention to Nadia's sisters. Her older sister is C and her little sister is D. C is a doctor while D is a lawyer. Her parents, well, I don't see the sign to even categorized them in my mind. Carry on then.

"So you're a politician? Working for the mayor I assume?" I smiled at brother A.

"Unfortunately, no, you guessed it wrong. I worked for the senator." He proudly said. Wow, a senator? Kiss my ass. I know the senator, he's in debt with me. "Oh, the senator? I know him. We met him not long ago, do you remember Nadia? We went to his house for dinner."

Nadia nodding her head. She needs to relax!

"You knew the senator?" Brother A asked me. "Yes." I smiled. "Even I haven't been into his house. He's a type of a man that holds a lot of secrets." Of course, he doesn't want anyone to go to his house! That's where half of my succubus live.

"And you're a scientist?" I asked brother B. "In what field?" I added. "Nanotechnology. Currently, I'm working for the Angelirium Research Facility, the ARF." Is he working for the angels? Oh, my devil. No wonder he's a d**k.

"Angelirium Huh? That's our rivalry company. I too have my own research facility, Demonix Conglomerate has everything under one roof." I heard sister D chuckled. "Man you must have a lot of debt. I mean to handle such a mega company like yours, you need a lot of time in your hands.

"Oh trust me, time is on my side. And I don't have debts. People indebted to me." I smiled. "You must marry quite a man to have all of this. Are you married to a royalty before meeting that useless mutt?" Nadia's mother asked.

"My ex-husband left me on the same day I gave birth to his son. I've been alone since but then I found Nadia, saving a total stranger from harm. For that, I owe her my life." I smile at my servant.

Can she at least pretend we're in love!

"I never would've guessed that you sink so low Nadia. To lure a rich woman like Lady Demonix here and used her for your own selfish desire, I'm glad I threw you away from our life." Somehow this plan of mine has the opposite effect on her. Nadia looked down.

"You know, I had enough of this." I placed my fork down. "I don't get it why does a mother like you even exist in this world. Your daughter here missed you even after you said she's useless and worthless. She doesn't even hold any grudge on all of you and she even invited you all to our house."

I noticed my kids decided to stand behind Nadia.

"We had enough as well. To see her own family treating Nadia like she's a piece of trash, we had enough." Israfel presenting everyone's voices.

Nadia looked up and face my kids. They smiled at my servant. "The Demonix treat everyone as a family but you, your not family to us," Caia added. I have never been so proud of my kids before this! "What kind of mother are you?" I asked Nadia's mother.

"A mother will do anything to take care of her family name. I have no daughter like that trash over there. A daughter of mine is not a dyke." What did she just called my servant?!

"Taking care of a family name? You've gotta be kidding me." This is the first time I heard Kokabiel speaking so freely.

"Nadia takes care of us without even waiting for our mother's order. She took care of Draven who's crying just like that when our mother went away for her job. She even took the time to wake us up when we're about to be late!" My word Kokabiel, what's gotten into you?

Wait, Nadia did all that? I turned my eyes to Nadia who's blushing.

"You think you've taken care of your Family name? All I see now is fake people with a fake persona." Caia decides to butt in. "Tell them Caia." I gave her my permission.

"Your politician son is involved in human trafficking. Your scientist son involved himself in the human experiment. They took the children from the orphanage for some experiment that supposes to help the army, known as project Excalibur." Caia smirked at Nadia's sisters.

"Your doctor daughter has been doing some illegal practices since she failed on getting her doctor's license. She's actually a wanted criminal. Last but not least, your lawyer of a daughter. She used her power in the law to help a fellow senator, to get himself away from being convicted."

Caia faces Nadia's mother. "Now, do the math in your own head. Your so-call proud kids is the worst than our Nadia." I chuckled. "In my eyes, you all are the useless mutt," Kokabiel said.

I clapped my hands when my kids ended their little speech. "Good job my children." I find it amusing seeing Nadia's parents taking the news to heart.

"Now that you know the truth of your so call proud children, try to call them as your kids." Nadia's mother was speechless.

"Asura! We have a problem!" Agramon barged in. I snapped my fingers and stop time as Agramon explained to me what's happening in one of the portals. I sighed. "And we were having so much fun too."

Why does an angel trying to invade my portal? Does it have a death wish?

I followed Agramon footstep with my servant while my children's keep the guest occupied. Like Agramon said, there's an injured angel laying in front of the supposedly sealed portal.

"What are you doing in here, angel?" I asked when I walked in.

The injured angel tried to look up to me. "I was sent here by the head angel." The angel beginning to vomit a cursed blood. "Hold on. Give me permission to touch you." I said before touching the angel. It's very rare for the head of the angels to ask for my help.

"One of our allies released a beast to the elven world. We tried to stop them but failed. The head angel said to ask for a certain devil. A devil that bear the title Behemoth." Ugh! They messed things up and asked for my help? How rude.

And yet they call us the one who stray the humans.

"You know I have a guest waiting for me." I was about to go when my servant suddenly kneels in front of me. "I'm sorry Master. But .... they asked for our help. We have to help. My family can wait. They can go if they want to. We have to help. Just thinking about the elf who needs us."

I sighed heavily. "What kind of beast that was released?" I asked. "An ancient beast we manage to captured thousands of years ago, the Goliath." The ... are they f*****g insane?!

"Your allies released a Goliath? To the elven world? What is this? Deathwish?" The angel cringed.

"When a Goliath is released there's no hope for them. Even if I came to .. " I noticed Nadia's face sadden. Ugh! Why do I have a feeling that I will do anything to put a smile on my servant's face?

"Fine. We'll go." I never thought I would be waltzing in the angel's territory again." I face Agramon. "Entertain our guest. Tell them something urgent came up." I asked Nadia to carried the injured angel and we both walked through the portal.

"You know, for an angel, it's dumb of you to walk through a sealed portal." She didn't say anything. When we arrived at the elven world, I can see the devastating image of the aftermath.

"Looks like Goliath made it through here huh." The elves that survived the attack, freaked out when they sense me coming towards their village.

"It's not enough we have a Goliath, now a devil as well?" Said one of the elder elves.

"Asura?" I heard my name was called.

"Hey, Araton, you called?" The head of the angels was glad to see me. "I never thought you would be coming upon being called. I'm glad Asura." Is it really okay for an angel to be glad for a presence of a devil?

"Who's the egghead who released Goliath?" I asked. Araton sighed.

"It's Ophanim, The angel of powers." One of the seven virtues?! I facepalm myself. "Ugh. Him again. I swear he always find a way to disturb the peace. For an angel, he's quite a devil himself."

I wonder where is this .....

"AHHHHHHHHH!" We all heard screaming not far from us.

"What's that?" Nadia asked me. Ugh! With the Goliath making scenery here, the beast that resides underground and the cave came out to play as well. "Two-headed giant. Goliath is triple the size of that, remember." I warned my servant.

I heard crying children's not far from the giant. "I'm this rate they all will be crush!" The head angels said while despatching her angels to saves them. Too late!

I use my teleportation spell and appeared in front of the children's in a heartbeat.

"MASTER!" Nadia yelled for me but before the giant's huge foot able to step on us, I used my shield spell to prevent us from being crushed. "Now go!" I yelled for the children's and waited for them all to escape.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY MASTER YOU WORTHLESS CREATURE!" I heard Nadia yelled before she materialized a sword from her hands. Without thinking, she sliced the giant in half with the sword I familiar with.

I used my other hand to summoned more shield spell to protect everyone so none of the others affected by the giant's poisonous blood.

Her bloodlust is showing and I just need to know how did she manage to summoned that sword easily.

"Clean this up Araton. There's one less problem for you here." Nadia kneels down when she relished what she had done. "Are you aware of the power of the sword you just wield?" I asked my servant. She shakes her head no.

"That's my former sword, darkness. I should tell you this, only manage to wield it and nobody else, well, except for you of course." I took the sword from her hands and dematerialized it.

"Having the power to wield this mean that the sword recognized you as a fellow devil. With that said, she must be here, somewhere."

I never would've guessed to see her again of all familiar. She's evil, reckless and hard to control. I should know, she was my former familiar. I asked the swamp witch to destroyed her after what she did but, how is it possible for her to be alive still?!

"Show yourself. I know you here. You just gave my servant a taste of bloodlust. Come out here!" I commanded. We all heard a creepy laughter echoing around us. I'm sure that's her. Who can forget that sinister laughter she has.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" I was out of the patient.

"Relax Asura."

To my surprise she appeared near where Nadia's at

To my surprise, she appeared near where Nadia's at. Was she with my servant all this while? How was it that I can't detect her presence at all?!

"Hello there Asura. It's nice to see you again. Do you miss me, I am your former familiar after all."

"My God." I heard the head angel said.

"Hello." I witnessed she just waved at Araton.

"What are you doing here Ra?" I asked.

"I sense you were in trouble. That's why I gave her the power to wield my sword, darkness."

This is bad. I was hoping she would choose the ice fairy to be her familiar, not the queen of darkness herself choosing her!
