Am i in love with Jess? If so, Can Jess like me too? I kept blushing while we're walking towards the direction of San Diego. 

"Claire? You all right?". Richy asked me

"Y-ye-Yeah!

"Are you blushing?! Ha-ha-ha are you guys in love?". 

"No!" Jess and I both refused.

"I-i mean, Yes!" Jess replied.

I was surprised by Jess's answer and stared at him.

"J-je-Jess? is that?".Jess replied shyly

 "But don't worry Claire, I'm not in a hurry. I can wait for you to like me too."

I do not know what I will answer that time. So i just keep quite, We continued walking until we got to San Diego, I saw that this place was very different. It is now to many households, vast plantation, and too many people . Upon our arrival, people approached us and helped carry our belongings.

"You guys are new in this place? Don't worry we will help you. by the way, I'am Rafa and this is my brother Raylie. We lived here for a few years, but people here help us too. So that, we will turned the favor back to others. So let us handle this."

"Thank You so much! very much appreciated." 

"By the way, do you know anyone here?"

"No nothing, We just new here, we came from the other town, we moved here because the landlord had already taken back the land we were planting."

"Oh, I see. Anyway, you can stay in our house until we find the place where you can build your own house. by the way, have you eaten? Your journey is quite far, I am sure you are hungry. come to my house and let us eat. Don't worry, everyone here works together so don't think we are bad people haha"

We were lucky and we met brothers Rafa and Raylie. Raylie said."You can do nothing idiots! Once I buy this land from the government. I will put you all out of here and burn down your homes.""No!" People of San Diego shouting and refuses him."Enough!" Bbb-rrrruaaaat! A loud noise coming from his riffle calmed us down."See? If anyone here tries to counter me! I will make his or her head blows! Understand?!"

Everyone was forced to answer yes out of fear.

"Okay! So i have to leave for now, Go and continue the fun! hahahaha!".

Happiness is shrouded in fear and anxiety by every person in San Diego. They put aside their fun first and plan what to do to stop Damian. Some have planned to kill Damian, but how? Damian and his men have powerful and long guns, But all we have is bolo (a large single-edged knife used in the Philippines).

One night we heard that someone had tried to kill Damian but as we expected, he did not succeed. his body was brought by Damian to our village and spread that whoever tried to take his life would die and it would affect their family.
