I TURNED around to see him coming closer to me. The tears in my eyes slowly fell down onto my cheeks continuously. His mouth holding a slight smile, by any means the smile was, it’s managed to make my heart fluttered.
“I missed you.” his eyes holding mine when he slowly came closer.
“Don’t,” one word I managed to mumble after I swallowed a huge lump down my throat. He ignored. His face closer to mine by seconds before he stopped, our nose barely touch.
“You don’t mean it.” I whispered. His eyes scanning my face, giving a little distance between us.
“Yes, I am.”
“You hurt me.”
“Not my intention.”
“You left me.”
“I am sorry,”
“You forget me,”
“Not a second,”
“You betray my trust,”
“Believe me I don’t,”
“I hate you,”
“I love you,”
Stunned, I immediately searched his eyes when unknown emotion slowly rising within me. My trembled hands found his necktie and forcefully I pulled him down to me even closer.
“I hate you,” I repeated.
“I love you too,”
I hate you so much,” I said again, emphasizing every word. He smiled.
“I love you so much more,”
As the words left his mouth, I found my mouth attached to him as a feeling I knew as anger resurfaced.
We kiss roughly while my hand still holding on his necktie tightly as if my life was depends on it. His hand holding my neck, giving him an easy access and kissed me the same force as mine.
When suddenly my back hit the wall, his hand already on my waist holding me tight preventing me from falling helplessly on the floor. Eventually my hands loosen up his tie and slowly started to unbutton his shirt.
He slipped off his coat quickly and threw it to nowhere inside the room while his hands pulled off the small bow on my blouse. His lips never leaving mine as me too continued kissing him the same way.
A ding sound from the elevator outside managed to separate us almost immediately. He put some distance between us but still looked at me in the eyes before abruptly stepped back afraid that somebody will find us making out.
I released a huge breath before tied up my bow and walked outside to be greeted by a brunette lady in black.

‘And who the hell is this?’ I spoke my mind.
“Hello, miss. I am here for Mr. Valentino.” she said as soon as she saw me coming out from his room. My face held a small smile before I made my way behind my desk.
“Do you have an appointment?” I asked politely. She smiles back to me, showing me a pair of beautiful red lips she owned.
“No I don’t.” she replied.
“But I am his fiancé.” she added afterwards, a smirk currently plastered on her face. ‘s**t!’
The moment the word fiancée left her mouth, I froze. My legs turned into jelly and my butt dropped almost immediately onto the chair. My eyes stared into hers before it fell on the open door behind her.
Derek was coming out of the room a few minutes later with a shock expression washed all over his face. My eyes fixed on his, while his eyes fixed on hers.
Fine. This is it, I guessed. Welcome drama!
“Oh, Mr. Fiancé! Surprise… surprise!” she said as she turned around and met Derek. She swiftly walked towards him and gave him a little peck on his cheek.
“Fiancé….” Derek replied slowly trailing. I watched silently the drama in front of me by ignoring the fact that I wanted to strangle that woman.
“Yes Derek, now.. now, this is how you greet me, huh?” she said as if pouting. I twitched my lips a little and continued my work on the computer.
“Fine, I have a meeting in an hour, want to grab some snack?” he asked her after a few silent conversation between them. In fact, I actually don’t paid attention at all to what they were talking about.
My mind actually wandering elsewhere. To the kisses earlier, to be honest. I sighed heavily and probably loudly because Derek voice suddenly echoed through the empty hallway and it was for me.
“Want to join us, Miss George?” I looked up to see that woman clinging to his side. Urgh, you are so annoying, lady. I smirked.
“Oh, I am Anastasia by the way.” she said suddenly, holding her hand out for me.
“Erm ?” I took her hand blankly and quickly turned back to my computer.
“Come join us,” she persuaded, her voice was so sweet and soothed that I thought that I will just knocked my head with the stapler.
“No, I am fine.” I said, standing up and trying to leave for the pantry.
“I like her,” was all I heard before I closed the pantry door and stood my back against it.
“f**k my life!”
