Chapter 3 - Kings Siblings

Elle!! I heard someone called me, I immediately looked at it and saw Casper who is smiling beautifully at me.

Casper I said, he walked to me and seems like wondering why I am here.

What are you doing here infront of male toilet, are you trying to peek on us haha he joked, I didn't stop myself to hit his arm and laughed.

You're crazy, I am just here to wait for Kent, he's inside, we will go home together I answered while still smiling.

I noticed how his face changed immediately after I said that but I just ignored it and tried to looked inside the toilet to look for Kent.

Oh really? It's been so long since the two of you go home together, what did he changed his mind? He said, that makes me looked back at him.

I don't know if I will tell him that Kent is finally my man, but maybe next time.

I just shrugged at him as an answered to his question.

Anyway, are you going home directly after he's done inside? He asked again that makes me wonder.

Ah yeah, maybe, why? I asked.

Sorry Elle but coach instructed me to look for the other players who didn't reply to his message on our group chat, we will have an unnoticed practice since the team that we will faced on our first game is also a best team, so coach doesn't want us to be confident and want us to practice hard he explained and scratched his nape, maybe he saw my gloomy face.

Is that so? Yeah okay I'll just tell him to attend your practice then I just said and smiled to convince him that it was okay.

I'm really sorry about that Elle he said, I immediately shooked my head on his apologize

No it's fine Casper, that was important I understand I assured him that makes him smile

So, how's that, are you going home alone already or you want to go with us to field? You can stay in our bench, so you can wait for him he said

It's been so long since I saw Kent practicing soccer. Ever since, Elaine and him got together, I didn't have a chance to watch him practice since it's always after class, Elaine was the one who always go with him and waited for him.

Although, I always supported him when they were already at tournament but I didn't have a chance to watched him practice and waited for him to done with it.

You may go first Elle, our practice will take long probably, you will just get bored, just tell your brothers that I will just go to your house next time Kent said stopping me from what I am saying

I looked at him and tried to fake a smile.

I want to watch him and makes him feel that I am here to support him like what Elaine used to do to him.

Elaine stayed with him even how long his practices take, I want to do it so that he will not feel alone.

I just watched his back and faked a smile before I looked at Casper who is still beside me.

He just tapped me gently at my shoulder and smiled.

Just give that to me Elle, I will probably need that later he said, I just nodded at him and handled him my pink tumbler, he slightly laughed at it before he get it from me.

You should not do that Elle you know, that is how Elaine used to do when she cannot be able to go with Kent with our practice, she will just prepare water and towel for him every time, and sometimes if she cannot be able to buy water for him beforehand, she will give him her own tumbler which is looked like this, also a bright pink one like this he said and showed me my tumbler.

Why did you try to stay away from us ever since Kent and Elaine got together? We cannot see you always, even with us you didn't bond with like we used to do when we were in high school Elle, I miss you, we all miss you, let's hangout sometimes he said, I just smiled at him at tapped his arm without answering his question

No Casper, I'm fine, just tell Kent that I will just go to their house tomorrow, practice hard, I'll just watch you all on tournament I said.

He also smiled at me and just run fast to the field.

Hey my princess, where's your best friend? My oldest brother Nico said when I got home, I saw my four brothers who's trying to fit themselves on one couch, they are watching some action movies which is our favourite hobby ever since.

They have an unnoticed practice, so he attended it and I just went home alone, since I cannot be able to wait for Kent to finish it, since he said it will take long I explained while walking to them.

When I finally in front of them, I immediately sit in between of Brother Nick and Brother Nico, they are the one who are in between of the twin, Nale and Nate.

I heard Nate cursed when he was crushed by the arm rest beside him when I sat. Our couch is big but the four of them sit here making it looks like it is small.

What the f**k Purple, you should just sat on other couch, I can't breathe here he said, that's why I looked at him and throw him a dagger look.

He shrugged at me and also looked bad at me.

Nick, looked at Nate, he is making fun of me I told my second brother Nick, he's my sweetest brother among them four and he's the one who always spoiled me.

Stop it Brown, Purple just arrived from school so she's probably tired so give her some space Nick said to Nate, that's why I looked at Nate and I stick my tongue out at him, he immediately throw me a dagger look then make face at me.

Nick, look at Nate again, he is still doing it, and now he's making an uglier face at me since he is already ugly in the first place I said that makes Nick looked at Nate, that's why Nate forcedly open his small eyes and explained himself.

Fvck that's not true Bro, that spoiled brat is just making a story Nate said and pointed at me, I just rolled my eyes at him and showed him my middle finger but hurriedly hide it when Nick was going to looked at me again. Look at her Bro, she just showed me her middle finger, don't treat her like she's an angel because that girl is not, she's so far from being that angel, princess, baby or anything else you called her fvck Nate also said and next thing I knew, there's already a black pillow landing on his not so handsome face. Nale, his twin brother did that to made him shut up.

You are so talkative Nate, when will you shut up? You always hurt our ears here Nale said to him, Nate just hugged the pillow and didn't answered him.

I just laughed while still waiting for Nate to looked at me, and he did, I throw him a flying kiss to make him pissed more and planned to throw the pillow at me.

Stop that the both of you, I can't concentrate on what I am watching Nico said, I immediately stopped and said sorry to him and just focused myself to watch the movie also, it is titled Red Notice, I love Gal Gadot so I will probably enjoyed it.

Anyway Purple, when will Kent come here? I told you I need his help for my thesis Nale said, I just shrugged at him while still looking at tv screen.

They have soccer tournament next week, so they will probably become busy this week, so I don't think he will have a time to come here I said and looked at him, he just nodded and focused himself on the screen.

My brothers were not aware of what's happening between me and Kent, they didn't even aware that we had a past more than best friend, the only thing they know is we are childhood friend, and that's it.

Oh and one more thing Purple, I do have a new dish that I learned a few days ago, you want it to try? Nale said that makes me jumped out from my seat and immediately sit beside him.

Nale shoved his twin brothers hand and hold me.

Don't bother me Nate, I am pissed at you, I already told you not to touch my things, I noticed that the food I made in my room was already touched, and not it is complete anymore, so don't act like you didn't taste it yet because you already did Nale said, Nate just laughed and said sorry.

Nale just ignored him and guided me upstair to his room.

Black, bring us some here Nick said while we are in the middle of the stair.

Yes of course bro, but please stop calling me by that name, it doesn't suit me Nale said that makes the three laughed, Nale doesn't want to be called by his second name, he just don't want it and we don't know why.

Wow Nale it is soooo good, how did you made this? Is it really your recipe? You didn't just copy it on other chef? Or did you not just watched from other cooking shows? Because it is really good, I swear I said while still eating the dish that he made, Nale is really good when it comes in cooking, and I always the one who he wants to taste this since he loves me so much.

That's mine, I experimented it last last night, I am not yet confident about that dish but I think I am now, since you approved it he said while watching me eat his dish.

Teach me how to cook this, I want to cook it for Kent I said, Nale immediately shook his head.

Of course not princess, this will be my signature dish so I cannot just give the recipe of it, you can just gave Kent some of it he said while smiling at me.

Anyway, don't you want to open up to me? He said, I smiled at him and told him what happened today.

Nale is my human diary, among my brothers, he is the only one who knows what all happened between Kent and I.

I am comfortable to tell all of it to him, he will just listen to me and gave some advices if needed, because I need someone to voice out all of the things that I experienced because I feel like I want to explode sometimes and I am lucky that I have Nale.

Next day, when I went down to our kitchen, I saw Nick and Nico who is still there eating their breakfast, that's why I kissed their cheeks and greeted them.

Good morning too, eat your breakfast Nico said, I sat beside him and Nick prepared my meal and handed it to me, I just said thank you to him.

Good morning my princess I heard Nale greeted me from my behind, I immediately looked at him and greeted him.

I still have the food you tasted last night, bring some for Kent and you may have the rest he also said, I smiled at nodded my head at him. I looked at brother Nico when I noticed that I still didn't see our parents since yesterday.

Nico, where's mom and dad? I still didn't see then since yesterday I asked.

They didn't go home last night, Dad said that they will go to Cebu for a project sightseeing, another resort will open there so they need to visit it, why though? You need something from them? He asked, i hurriedly shook my head as answer.

After few minutes, I waived them goodbye and ask our driver to drive for me at Kent's house.

Yaya Edna, may I know where's Kent? Is he already awake? I asked their maid when I arrived at his house.

He is still there at his room Iha, I didn't see him went outside, I just don't know if he will go to school today since I saw him last night, it seems like he is drunk and he have some alcohol also with him she said, I don't have a chance to talked to her and just made myself to run as fast as I could to his room.

Gladly that I have his spare key that I get from his room yesterday that's why I can freely go inside his room.

When I opened his room, it seems like it is just like tomorrow, a mess room again and again.

I thought you are already okay.

I saw Kent who is still sleeping soundly in his king sized bed, holding a picture frame of Elaine and him together.

I smiled bitterly at the sight of it.

Kent I said, and tapped his shoulder to wake him up.

Stop it Love, I am still sleepy give me some more minutes he said that made me stopped.

Love, that was their endearment to each other, and the one who think of that is no other than me.

Flashback

I can't really believed that you are officially mine now Elaine, but I want to call you something that I can really feel that you are mine, like honey or babe, something like that, it's corny but I like it Kent said to Elaine while giving her his smile that I love the most.

I am in front of them since Kent called me and said that they need to tell me something, and here I am, hurting so much because they said that they are now together and as of the moment, they are thinking of what they should call to each other in front of me, adding to the wound in my heart. I am just hoping that they didn't notice that I am just acting happy for them because I am really shattered inside.

Yes Elaine, the two of you should have it, like Kate and Bryan, I heard them calling each other Baby haha I said and faked a laugh, I saw how Elaine blushed at it, maybe she's embarrassed thinking about it.

How about you're the one Elle who gave us an endearment, since you love giving pen name to other people, so I think you can give us too, but please don't be corny Kent said that made me stunned.

I looked at Elaine and saw that she's smiling at me.

Please Elle, I can trust that you can give us some sweet endearment she softly said and hold my hand.

Why me? You should be the one who think of it, since it's for the both of you I awkwardly said and tried to avoid their gaze.

I also felt that I can't swallow properly since I feel like any moment I will cry infront of them.

Please? Kent said that made me looked at him.

I just sighed and just spat out Love, it's suit the both of you, since I know that you really love each other I said and faked a smile.

I didn't notice that there's tears which already forming on the side of my eye, I immediately wipe it and looked at Kent.

Why am I like this? Once I am near Kent, the other side of me immediately fade, I am childish, and spoiled when I was with my brother but with him, I always act like I am happy, almost all of my emotions was faked.

I want to go back to the day when I was really happy with Kent, the day when Elaine didn't come with our life, that day when Kent attention was only on me. We were so much happy together.

I am becoming an i***t for Kent, especially with this rebound thing, is this really a good decision? Or Nale is right, I will just make myself in trouble?

Kent, its Elle I said and tapped his shoulder again.

I gasped from air when he opened his eyes and stared at me.

You should get up, I heard from Casper that you have practice this early morning I said, he stopped looking at me and put the frame on his side bed.

He stood without talking at me, he just went directly to his bathroom, I just watched his every move and divert my attention to the frame when he's inside his bathroom.

That was the picture of him and Elaine on their first month together that I also planned for them as an i***t supportive friend.

I picked it up and hide it in his bed drawer, also the other pictures and frame of him and Elaine together.

This is the first step Kent to finally forget her and just focused at me.
