The feeling that comes over my body isn’t at all what I expected. I’m terrified… obviously… but there’s something else. Something… deeper. I look into the enormous unblinking golden eyes in front of me, and for some reason neither of us moves. We both stand completely frozen as the torrential rain drenches us to the core.  I can see the droplets cascading over the majestic creature’s scaled green skin, and it’s chest heaving deeply. Billows of smoke puff from its enormous nostrils with each labored breath. I know this thing wants to devour me, but for some reason I can’t move my feet. They’re cemented to the wet ground by an unseen force. I’m immobilized by this creature’s imposing beauty.  Suddenly, the sound of blaring horns rings through the air, and it wakes me from my temporary para
