Sam stood in her mom's small waiting room, with Gem, Amber, Morgan, and Alex. They'd dropped Hunter off and were told to wait outside. Hunter had healed but not woken up yet. The rest had stayed behind in Old Town to take care of the aftermath of the fight. Sam had to admit that even though the fight had been brutal, and some of her people and those from Old Town will have a few bruises, it had gone quicker than she'd thought. She knew the fact that Riana had come with her own small army, and that they had captured so many by surprise, worked in their favor. But still, she'd expected more resistance from Ava. She wondered if Mya and the others had found them yet, she had a lot to discuss with Ava and Trudy. Hopefully, they hadn't hurt Gina when the curse had lifted.
