Life As I Know It

I am in a beautiful meadow,the skies crystal clear and the sun is blissfully warm on my skin.As I am laying there a huge brown wolf with beautiful warm golden eyes appears.It takes slow deliberate steps towards me,it finally reaches me and I'm surprised to find that I don't feel an ounce of fear in me.I should be scared right?There is a huge wolf right in front of,I can practically feel it's breath on my face,but I'm not.Instead I feel rather safe with it in my presence,I wish it could stay with me and never leave. "Ruby!!!" I jump as someone bangs on my door. "Ruby open this door before I break it,how to you have the audacity to be still asleep at this time huh? If you are not in that kitchen in 5 minutes,I promise you you will be sorry". I glance at the alarm clock next to me and the time is 5 o'clock in the morning.I quickly get up make the bed and I rush to the kitchen,I take out everything I'm going to need to make breakfast and get busy.After I'm done I out everything on the table and I make myself scarce.Oh how I wish I could runawy from this God forsaken place,how I wish I could go back to the meadow and be with the wolf in my dreams.Somehow even that the dream I had seems so real or is it because I wish it was? either way I can't seem to get those golden eyes out of mind.
