Who Shook the Jar

I am a proud father of two children, who I’ve taught to believe in the magic of dreams and the power of persistence. I would describe myself as passionate, charismatic, and currently evolving. As an entrepreneur, I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities, and new horizons to conquer. Who Shook the Jar is my first book, an exciting chronicle of the history and development of sport. I wanted to do something that combined two of my favorite things – sports and history. If you don’t think where we came from is fascinating, then I’m daring you to read Who Shook the Jar. We never think about it much, but ancient civilizations laid the foundation for modern sports and today, there is a diversity and richness in sporting culture that reflects our creativity, history and traditions. Here’s a quick excerpt: Very early in his reign, Theodosius became significantly ill, to the point that it baffled his own physicians. Possibly realizing that his body was failing, but he could still save his soul, he agreed to be baptized in A.D. 380 and declared himself a Christian. It was time for the Christian Emperor to speak. Essentially, he forced mainstream Christianity on the Roman Empire. The message was clear. Theodosius almost immediately closed pagan temples and prohibited worship to any other God but one. As Rome also had control of Greece, it was also f*******n to continue the worship of the Greek gods, including Zeus, and in A.D. 393, a ban was put on the Olympic Games citing idolatrous and pagan beliefs.
