Samuel

Paul, Michael, Phil, and I arrived at the party around 5pm ready to have some fun. After drinking for a few hours and talking to some shallow she-wolves we decided to call it a night and head home. "Paul how far till were home? My ass hurts from these damn seats," I groaned relaxing into the back of my seat. "Oh calm down Sam, we still got a couple hours drive ahead of us," Paul responded. We drove in silence for another hour before Michael spoke up, "Alpha we have company." I opened my window and took a deep breath. Rogues. Glancing around I saw a group of approximately 40 rogues charging our cars from the south. "Well guys I dont think the cars can out run them, but there might be too many for us to handle." "Alpha I say we fight. There's a faint scent I'm picking up over the rogues. Maybe another wolf is nearby that will help," Paul pointed out. We nodded at eachother. "Okay then men, are you ready?!" "Yes Alpha!" they screamed. With that we threw the doors open and began shifting. I could feel my bones popping as Axel took over allowing my claws and canines to extend while my red fur grew out. Charging forward I attacked every rogue in my sight. After I tore out ones throat I stiffened catching the faint scent of strawberries and honey drifting through the air. Axel searched the battle for the source until his eyes landed on the most beautiful wolf. She was small, probably a warrior, with fur dark as night and emeralds for eyes. "Mate! Mate! Mate!" Axel began chanting in my head. "Not now Axel. Were kinda in the middle for something," I couldnt stop staring as she ripped out a rogues throat. "What the hell Sam?! Come on we're almost done then you can stare." Paul screamed in my head. I could hear the chuckle in his tone. After a few minutes I was fighting the last rogue while Michael and Phil watched Paul and a small blonde wolf playing catch with a dead rogue. As Axel trotted over to the boys we noticed the blonde wolf jump a bit then go sit near my mate with her head lowered. Must've gotten into trouble. The light brown wolf wandered behind a tree shifting and returning with some clothes. He was about 6'7" with short light brown hair and toned muscles. The guy placed a set of clothes in the each small wolfs mouth before they ran behind the tree to shift also. The guys and I shifted as he handed us some shorts and tshirts to put on. "So where are you guys coming from?" the brunette asked. "We were at a party in Bloodrock territory," Phil responded. "Bloodrock parties are for p*****s. My pack throws much better parties," The brunette chuckled. "Oh and what pack is that?" Paul asked with his eyebrow raised. "I dont speak of my pack to outsiders," he responded shrugging. "What pack?" I questioned him. "nope," he shrugged again. Now I was getting angry. How dare he refuse an alphas question. "What pack do you belong to?!" I demanded answers. But he just smiled. "The only Alpha I listen to is my Alpha," he stated and he looked into my eyes. I released a warning growl, but he still just chuckled and shook his head. "I wouldnt do that. My Alpha doesnt like people messing with pack members." "Well I dont see another Alpha so I think I'll be fine..." before I could finish my sentence somebody was on my back with their claws digging into my throat. I fell small trickles of blood run down my neck causing me to freeze. The scent of strawberries and mint over powered my senses and she leaned forward whispering in my ear. "An attack on one pack member is an attack on all. Attack my pack again and I will wipe you're from history. I will destroy anybody that hurts my family, no matter the bond. Understood?" She spat with venom in her voice. All I could do was nod fearing she'd rip my throat out. I finally took a breath as she released me. "Names now," my mate spoke with so much authority, but she's so small it's not possible to be a ranked member. "Should we tell them who we are?" Phil mindlinked me. "The girls right, we dont have much of a choice," Michael groaned back. "Go ahead boys they dont seem like bad people" With that we introduced ourselves followed by their introductions. "This is my head warrior John, my Beta Terra, and I am Alpha J." the men gasped. "Like the Alpha J?" "The child Alpha?!" the blonde girl, Terra, growled at Michael's comment making all of us jump. My mate placed a hand on her shoulder instantly calming Terra before locking eyes with Michael. "I assure you while I may be young I am no child." With that she turned and lead us through and open field. The walk was quiet aside from Paul and Terra getting to know eachother better until my mate spoke up, "Is anybody else hungry?" Her voice was like Angel's singing "depends, who's cooking?" Terra raised her eyebrow at my mate. "Jesse, duh" my mate rolled her eyes making me chuckle "I'm famished then," Terra feigned fainting and fell into Paul's arms. He began pestering her about why it mattered who cooked, but she refused to answer until my mate nodded at her. Terra then proceeded to tell us an adorable story about my mate trying to do good for the omegas then being upset when the omegas had to help her. I found it cute how much she cares for her pack. By the end we were all on the ground laughing. We collected ourselves after a few moments then began walking again. I stopped when I heard my mate murmur something about only being twelve. "What?" I yelled surprised. She looked at me like I had three heads, "what?" She questioned allowing her emerald eyes to settle on me. "Didnt she say you were twelve in the story?" I asked hesitantly "yea.. and?" My mate looked so confused. I was going to ask how she became an Alpha so young, but I thought better realizing she would probably tell me on her own time. When we arrived at the pack house all the members were ecstatic to see their the three leading us, but they glares at my men and I. "Why does you pack look so angry?" One of the guys asked. "They don't like outsiders," snapped John while he looked at me. Once inside we were met by a short woman with brown hair who introduced herself as Jesse. She was about to leave when my mate called after her asking if she had eaten. Jesse said no so my mate invites her to join us. As Jesse turned around I could see on here face that she really didn't want to join us, but surely she wouldnt go against her Alpha. My eyes wouldnt leave my beautiful mate the entire time we were in the dining room. It felt as if I was in a trance while watching the slight smile form at the edge of her pink lips. At one point Phil began questioning Jesse about why my mate commanded her to eat with us. My mate visibly stiffened when it was brought up, but she made no move to stop Jesse from telling the story. Apparently Alpha J found Jesse and her brother a few years back; since then J has taken it upon herself to make Jesse eat every chance possible. Alpha J is amazing. My mate is amazing. She not only loves her pack, but they love her. Its amazing; most alphas are territorial and defensive, but she takes in rogues without a second thought molding them into loyal pack members. My mate excused herself from the table saying something about early training and leaving, but not before reminding us of her original threat of war if we harmed any pack members while visiting. She was terrifying and I love her, but why hasn't she acknowledged the mate bond. Does she not feel it? Is she planning on rejecting me? Ugh woman are infuriating! "Okay so who is it?" Terra questioned looking at each of us. "What do you mean?" Paul looked concerned. "What I mean is one of you is Js mate. Now spill," She demanded taking her time to stare into each of our eyes. "Speak up Alpha! While you may hide the bond your wolf wont," Terra spoke directly to me never losing eye contact. I felt Axel stirring inside for a moment before he settled down. "How did you know?" I was surprised to say the least. "Your wolf.." "No, how did you know that she found her mate? Did she tell you" I interrupted causing her to giggle. "Oh you poor soul. She would never tell me that," Terra smiled mischievously, "She has been Alpha for most of her life. J has fought and built everything this pack is today..." "T, I dont think you should say anymore. You know how J feels about outsiders," John warned. "John you know as well as I do this man will need help if he wants to be Js mate. I wont tell him anything against the rules." "Wait, wait. How did you know Alpha J had found her mate if you didnt tell you." This beta might just be bluffing "Well I'm sure John noticed too, that's why he was so grumpy. You see J is friendly with outsiders, but she never truly trusts them. Rule number one with outsiders is share nothing. This includes name and rank." Terra paused searching my face for recognition. "At first I though she only allowed you to know our names due to Paul and I being mates.." "But then she approved of you telling that story of her cooking for the omegas," It dawned on me. My mate has been slowly letting me in since we met. Terra beamed at my realization. "She said something about morning training. Think she'd mind if we join? I gave her a bashful smile not wanting to overstep. "J linked me as soon as she left asking me to invite you all to join actually," She winked at me, "training is at 5am and there will be clothes provided in your rooms. Jesse will now show you where to sleep" As I curled up into the bed my mind continued to wander to my mate. Her thick midnight black hair; her green eyes with specks of black and gold; her soft pink lips that are always formed into a slight smile. I drifted of to sleep imagining cuddling my mate.
