"This is the thing, Sofie. We were never in a relationship... like, it was one-sided." Jane says making me shocked.
"What... what do you mean?" I ask her while giving a glance at Brian who seems as confused as I am with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Let me elaborate. So, Christian has spent most of his time in New York. This is what he told me. We met in college and he was this arrogant type of man who never talks to anyone. He used to seek competition whether in studies or in the number of girls he kissed. He sought dominance over other people and needed everybody to bow in front of him, as in to give in his every demand. I still don't know how I became friends with someone as arrogant as him cause he didn't change much even after we became friends. But at least he was lenient with me.
