The world is divided between ordinary humans and people born with supernatural abilities known as Arts. Some can control fire. Others can manipulate shadows, create weapons, control electricity, or even alter their bodies. Those who possess powerful Arts are respected. Those with weak Arts are forgotten. Eijin Godoin is one of them. At school, Eijin is constantly mocked because his Art is simply called Bubble Creation. He can create bubbles from his hands and control where they move, but he has never been able to make them powerful enough to compete with other students. During a training exercise, Eijin faces a student with a powerful strength-based Art. The fight ends quickly. Eijin's bubbles bounce harmlessly off his opponent, and the other students laugh. Eijin refuses to give up. Instead of trying to make bigger bubbles, he experiments with making them smaller. He creates a tiny bubble and launches it at a concrete training wall. CRACK! A small section of the wall breaks. Everyone becomes silent. Eijin realizes that his bubbles can become extremely dense. Before he can test the ability further, the instructor stops the training. That evening, Eijin returns home. Something feels wrong. The front door is open. The house is completely silent. Eijin enters and discovers signs that someone has broken in. Before he can understand what happened, a masked figure appears behind him. Eijin immediately creates several bubbles. The masked figure destroys them with a single attack. Eijin tries to fight back, but he is completely outmatched. The masked assassin suddenly notices Eijin's face. He freezes. "Godoin..." Eijin asks what that name means. The assassin doesn't answer. Instead, he says: "Your family should have disappeared years ago." Eijin realizes the attacker knows his family. The assassin leaves before Eijin can stop him. Eijin searches the house and discovers a strange symbol left behind by the intruders: a black insignia resembling a broken circle. He has never seen it before. The next morning, Eijin begins searching for answers. He discovers that the symbol belongs to a secret organization known as THE BLACK ORDER. Almost nothing is known about them. They are rumored to be a group of elite assassins who secretly eliminate people with powerful Arts. Eijin decides that he will find them. But first, he needs to become stronger. That night, Eijin returns to the training ground alone. He remembers what the assassin said. "Your family should have disappeared years ago." Eijin clenches his fist. A single bubble appears above his palm. Instead of the usual transparent color, the bubble begins glowing faintly. Eijin looks at it in shock. "What... are you?" The bubble suddenly becomes incredibly dense. The ground beneath Eijin's feet cracks. He looks toward the city. Somewhere in the darkness, a mysterious figure watches him from a rooftop.
