From a children's movie

We call you Milo

From all the energy

From being play

From the love

We continue to call you Milo,

From the times we spend

From the companionship

From the life we build

You, Milo, will always be Milo

How long has time passed?

I can smell the air,

But she has still left.

How long do I wait?

I lay my head,

I can still feel the warmth.

I want her return,

At least she left me a bone.

I peer outside the window,

I see the birds flying and trees sway.

The skylight shines bright,

I lay under the sun's kiss on my fur.

How long do I wait?

How long has time passed?

My ears perk up,

I hear footsteps and keys jingle.

My tail sways back and forth

I waited so long for you!
