Medley's POV I woke up at the sound of the alarm ringing. My arm flew in the air, turned off the alarm, and took the glasses off the counter. I mumbled, "First day in a new life, here we go." I got up from bed and went to use the bathroom. I felt refreshed after a splash of water ran through my face. As I was washing my teeth, I heard a knock on the bedroom door. "Sweetie, did you already wake up?"My father slowly opened the door. "Yeah," I shouted as I spit the remaining toothpaste into the sink. "I ironed your uniform, and breakfast is ready downstairs.". he placed my uniform on my bed and left the room. I quickly changed into my uniform and ran downstairs to eat my breakfast. '' Good morning, Raven.'', I kneeled to pet my cat as she arched her back. I quickly sat on the chair, and I held the fork to take a bite. ''Don't forget to visit the principal's office as soon as you enter the building.'', he allocuted, and I nodded while chewing the food. '' I'll drive you to school.'', he spoke, but I shook my head in disagreement. ''I can walk to school'', I assured. '' as you wish, dear.'' ~~~ I finally found the school. however. I was flabbergasted by the size of the school. I couldn't believe my eyes. This must be a miracle. Feeling blissful, I held the strap of the bag and fixed my glasses. '' New school, new life''. I confidently walked into the building. As soon as I walked through the front door, I suddenly felt the anxiety spreading through me, watching large crowds walk past me and listening to millions of voices descant around my head. my shoulders tensed as memories of my past kept flooding my head. don't remember what you left behind. I faltered around the hallways. my legs felt numb even though I was moving. my vision began to blur, and my head began feeling heavy. Please calm down, Mel, please. Just chill, you're gonna be fine. Or not. suddenly, I couldn't feel my legs anymore. Oh god. Here we go again. I should have waited outside until the hallways were empty. I stumbled on my step before I almost fell. but I didn't. I felt some brawny arms instantly hold me at that second.
