CHAPTER 8: FINALLY FED

1143 Words
When they returned, Clyde asked, "Cris, Tristan says you're making me rush to fetch your food?" He lifted his brows, as though pondering whether she actually did. Cristine has recently been aware of their affinity towards lifting their brows. Cristine's gaze narrowed in on the young master. Of course, she didn't persuade Clyde; Tristan is simply fabricating things. Her hands ache to yank someone's hair out. She cast a sweet, coquettish gaze towards Clyde. "I'm hungry, Clyde, and I'd like to eat something." "Please?" Cristine is behaving childishly. She has no concept of shame. She understood that her attractiveness was sufficient to conquer other people, but that her childishness was sufficient to conquer her brother. Clyde amusedly stated, "All right, I never expected you could bring your childishness here Cristine." Cristine couldn't believe Clyde called her childish. It's alright not to be too verbal since you can hurt someone's heart. Cristine appeased her heart by saying Clyde was today's lunch treat. "I'm just hungry," Cristine said, rolling her eyes. "Let's eat, I'm so annoyed. I thought we were going to eat peacefully." They were wasting their time by conversing. Words aren't appetizing since they're so sluggish. Cristine's eyes gleamed as she observed the delicacies on their table. Cristine believed these guys were quite wealthy. Cristine grabs Hannah and says, "Clyde, hurry up! Hannah, you sit here, I'm so hungry." That girl was a little clumsy. She's far too slow. But Cristine knows Hannah isn't as sweet as she appears and isn't as stupid as she imagined. She's perplexed as to why her personality and behaviors are so different. Tristan taunted Cristine, trying not to chuckle, "Obviously, you're really hungry." Cristine simply fixed her gaze on Tristan. She assumed he was only looking for a fight. Is his day not complete unless he annoys her? "Is that so funny?" Cristine said, her voice firm. She's a tad annoyed. That guy is a complete jerk. He would criticize or taunt her at every opportunity. His talent, I believe, is to annoy her to death. What a skill he has for making others feel bad about themselves! He looked at everyone and asked, "Am I laughing? No one sees it, right?" Those guys simply lower their heads and do not initiate eye contact. Cristine cursed silently in her head. What a great liar, just deny it. Cristine was tempted to ask this young master if he thought SHE WAS BLIND, but she kept her mouth shut. When you're hungry, it's difficult to argue. Her stomach continued to grumble. Cristine believed they would never sympathize with her. They were about to eat when Cristine intervened. They all looked at her, confused. With a shake of her head, Cristine expresses her dissatisfaction with the situation. They don't have any manners at all. "First, we must pray," Cristine stated solemnly. Tristan simply furrows his brows. Their appearance is that of someone who hasn't prayed before eating. "All right," they all said as they stared at me. Cristine assumed they were hungry and eager to eat as well. "Start praying, Cris, what are you waiting for?" Clyde demanded, as if being slow was a sin. Cristine simply rolled her eyes; they were both hungry, so why were they wasting time talking? “Okay,” Cristine simply replied quietly and prayed. Even though she had a poor attitude, she believed she still knew how to pray. After prayer, they began to eat. The table is deafeningly quiet. Only chewing, swallowing, and the buzzing of the tableware may be heard. Cristine took a look at each of them; she hadn't expected them to be that lovely while eating. They're hungry, but they're still cool and collected. Cristine had hoped that the rest of the meal would be peaceful, but it was not. In this world, there are a lot of gossipers. They are really interested in other people's lives. It makes her hand itchy to grab someone's neck. Her demeanor changed. The cafeteria is really noisy. She only realized it now. It was like a swarm of buzzing bugs buzzing around. Cristine had just overheard a discussion at the adjacent table. It's not that she's a gossip, but her hearing is exceptional. She doesn't have superpowers, so don't imagine she does. "Oh my god, the magnificent King Trios and Dark Angels. It was my first time seeing them together. Oh my, they're so handsome, I could die," praised a shaky and high-pitched voice. Then die. Cristine wondered who King Trios and the Dark Angels were and how they managed to make girls swoon. They are far too well-known. Cristine reasoned that she needed to do some study to figure out which well-known people she should avoid in order to have a calm school year. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight. Cristine was intrigued. "Clyde? Are you King Trios? Who are the Dark Angels?" She came to the conclusion that her brother belonged to King Trios, but who are the Dark Angels? What is it that makes them so popular? She was curious as to whether the university had its own entertainment industry. Are they going to introduce some celebrities? "Princess, we are," Allen joyfully replied. She gave him a sidelong glance. Are they? Cristine's expression was bewildered, as though she was baffled as to why they were famous. She wasn't sure if they were making fun of her. "Are you certain?" " Cristine was still unsure. She examines each of them. She can't deny that they're all attractive. They have a certain allure to them. Is it, however, sufficient to make someone famous? Their table contained nine boys and two girls, Cristine and Hannah being two of the girls. Cristine was under the impression that they had not been formally introduced. They are lacking in etiquette. "Can we introduce ourselves? We don't know each other's names yet," Cristine said politely, which is surprising given that they were just glancing at each other without saying anything. Is this the result of overeating? Clyde's friends were the first to introduce themselves. The King Trios also included Darylle and Ian. They're both rather attractive. They are beautiful in their own way. They're both taller than Cristine, which is to be expected. Darylle is a cheerful person, and Ian was a gentleman. Allen and Alex were identical twin brothers. They are Dark Angels members. Alex has black hair that is naturally silky and lustrous. His demeanor was that of a bad boy, although a very attractive bad boy. He has a reserved demeanor and a limited vocabulary. Allen, on the other hand, is a bit chatty. His manner is oozing with romance. Allen has the bearing of a playboy, and this will be your first impression of him. He has a nice way of saying things. His entire speech was flattering. End of Text.
