CHAPTER 11: ADRIAN

1932 Words
"I'm curious, can you stand her attitude?" Cristine's eyes narrowed. If this is the real deal, then true love is screwed up. This is a form of t*****e. She was adamant about the guy's manner. Her intellect can't comprehend how a guy can love a girl without taking into account the girl's personality. Isn't it crazy? Is this what you meant when you said "love is blind"? He's completely blind. "You're so nice to her; by the way, who are you?" " She thinks it's fascinating. She discovered she had a spirit of gossip. With her query, the guy trembles. It was a basic question, yet the boy acted as though it were a sensitive subject. "It's none of your concern," the youngster replied angrily to Cristine. Cristine simply shrugged her shoulders. Yeah, she doesn't seem to bother. She simply inquires on the spur of the moment. "You're not going to hold me accountable for that slap, are you?" “All of the students in the cafeteria can attest to the fact that it was self-defense." Cristine's sweet and mocking voice flowed around the cafeteria. The students were just watching the show and not getting involved in any of the arguments. They are very committed to their work. "You're to blame!" “It's all because of you!" "You are the one." "I wouldn't be as miserable as I am right now if it weren't for you!” Misty, the girl, was distraught, blaming Cristine. Her behavior was assertive, and she spoke in a commanding tone. "Wait, wait, I'm beginning to wonder if you're mentally sound. It was a bit concerning. First and foremost, I am not the one who is slandering someone. Second, it wasn't me who first slapped someone. So, instead of fighting for myself, should I just let you do anything you want?" Cristine remained cool and uninterested in the situation. "Your narcissism must be treated," she added. “Take her to a therapist. Please take this advice very seriously." Cristine took a step back. She doesn't want to be linked with someone who has issues with their personality. You'll never know what they'll do. On the first hand, everything was great, but on the second, everything went crazy. You'll have no idea how you offended them. Cristine returned to their dining table. Her eloquence and brilliant phrases are praised by the boys. They're still rational and know what's right. Cristine simply rolled her eyes at the compliments. Cristine is still looking for something to eat. She is only interested in one thing: eating. They bid goodbye when they finished eating. They're all in different classes. Cristine is all alone. She's irritated because those guys don't even have a modicum of courtesy in them. They simply directed her to her room but did not accompany her. Cristine planned to beat up the boys if she was late for class. Cristine notices that several people are staring at her. She simply shrugged it off. She is unconcerned as long as she is not gossiping about her. Cristine's mind was wandering as she ran into someone again due to her foolishness. She's upset since she collided with someone for the second time today. "I'm sorry," Cristine said as she retrieved her book from the floor. Cristine noticed a hand helping her with her belongings. She was certain it was the person with whom she had crashed. She was only concerned with gathering up her belongings off the floor. In the crowd, Cristine heard a loud scream. The screaming noises are irritating. The piercing brows furrow, apparently annoyed by the loud noise. She has a strong desire to kill someone right now. Women are careless about their vocal abilities. Because of their booming voices, they resemble a shrew. "Adrian is quite attractive. She's very fortunate that Adrian even helped her. So courteous and charming." Cristine was furious. Please remind Adrian, if you know him, that he is a threat to society. "Oh my god, he's so attractive! Do I actually have a chance of him liking me?" Cristine couldn't help but remark, "Tch, what a coquettishness!" She's so enraged right now that she's capable of cursing someone. They scream like there isn't going to be another day. Isn't it acceptable to silently admire someone? They simply wanted to be noticed. Cristine is still picking her stuff with her head bowed when she hears a chuckle. It's a man, based on his voice. Cristine was aware that he had run into a man. Cristine cast a glance at the man's cheeky grin and simply rolled her eyes at him. Cristine's reaction astounded the man. He had not anticipated Cristine's behavior. The guy casually hands Cristine her belongings. "Are you so surprised? You haven't met a lady who has challenged you? You're weird," Cristine said, raising her brows. Seriously, there are a lot of fiery girls out there. She knew a lot of people. It's nothing out of the ordinary for her. Along the way, Cristine can sense a continuous intense gaze. She is unsure if there is something seriously wrong with her. She maintains her composure and calm. The man regained control of his emotions and quietly smiled at her. Cristine senses his ambition to seduce someone. Cristine might have been captivated if it was Tristan's smile, but he wasn't. "You're fine, but this kind of thing doesn't work on me; maybe try it on others," Cristine said as politely as she could. She doesn't want to stomp on anyone's ego. After speaking those lines, she swiftly walks away. "Players," Cristine says with a shake of her head. The man tried to stop Cristine by saying, "Wait." Cristine came to a halt as well, bewildered. "Yeah?" Cristine inquired, her mind wandering to whether she would be late again. She didn't want to be delayed, but fate had other plans. "Ahh, you won't say thank you?" the man asks, his face awkward. Cristine smiled despite the fact that she knew it was only an excuse. She appeared to be ignorant at the moment. She even forgot to express gratitude. "Oh, okay, sorry, I forgot, thanks," Cristine simply replied that she was still waiting to see whether this guy had any more tricks in his sleeve. The guys smiled and said, "You're welcome." Although it seemed attractive, it was not her cup of tea. His smile seems like it belongs in a music video or a movie, and it has the power to enchant. Cristine is unaffected in the least. Cristine walked away, bored, saying, "Yeah, whatever." When he saw Cristine's back, his jaw dropped. Cristine was a little irritable, and it would be unwise to contact anyone at that time. Cristine could hear the screaming becoming increasingly loud. She simply covered her ears with her hands, irritated. Cristine was searching for her room and gazing around. She was able to immediately locate her room. Cristine let out a relieved sigh. She doesn't want to waste any more time. Someone tripped her as she walked inside. Cristine's belongings were once again scattered across the floor. She had the distinct feeling that fate was playing tricks on her. She wanted to get home and relax. "What a moron!" Cristine had no idea who had said it. She looked at the girl as she followed the sound. Cristine has her reservations about which of the two is truly dumb. Why would she put her feet in the way? She's a knucklehead. Someone sarcastically urged, "Look at your way properly." Cristine will be touched that someone is worried if she doesn't have that tone. Would she trip if it weren't for the girl's feet on the way? It's designed to catch someone off guard. Cristine is irritated. She believes there is something wrong with her. Where is her vigilance these days? She believed that comfort was a terrible drag. It caused her to become so unstable. "Whatever, just know that the next time you put your feet in the way, I'm going to break it. I'm serious," Cristine replied calmly, her tone threatening, as if she didn't want to wrong herself in the least. "What did you say?" the young lady demanded vehemently. Cristine isn't sure if this is yet another deaf individual. Is she still requesting that she repeat what she says? Is it possible that she doesn't clean her ears very often? "My tolerance is running out, and I don't want to talk to a deaf person," Cristine says. She's simply wasting her time. She believes it is preferable to hit someone and be done with it. "How could you say that?" the girl asked, her teeth clenched. This school's students are extremely vain. They bully someone and don't expect retaliation from the other side. Is it accurate that they are that arrogant? "Don't block my way again, or I'll punch your face and be done with it; I'm sure it costs you some money to look that good, doesn't it?" Cristine walks away from the girls with their mouths gaping. She isn't interested in wasting her time with them. They are of no relevance. Cristine sat down after seeking a nice seat. "Why are you still standing, Ms. Dela Vedra and Ms. Gonzales?" Cristine looked confused. Her professor was familiar with the ladies. Cristine was under the impression that she was a transfer student. The two girls simply sat down after rolling their eyes at the professor. They exchanged piercing stares with her. Cristine is unconcerned. "Do you know you're the only one brave enough to stand up to those two?" At her side, a man whispered. Cristine discovered that this was the nerd in the cafeteria with the frame glasses. Cristine's heart aches as she recalls her meal being dumped. She had not anticipated this guy's continuous chattiness. Cristine was bored and asked the guy, "Should I get excited and celebrate?" She was fed up with the students' narcissism and attitude. She doesn't go to school only to be told what to do. The guy scratched his head nervously and remarked, "Ahhh, not really, I'm only saying." Cristine simply looked at him, unconcerned. Cristine noted that the man's eyes were a sapphire blue color behind his glasses. It was stunning. His eyes were familiar to her, as if she had seen them before but couldn't recall where. "Actually, Miss Hernandez, I admire you," the guy said with a gorgeous smile. Cristine was confused as to how this man knew her name, but she pushed the thought out of her mind and focused solely on the man. The geek was not skinny, but he was lean. He is the scholarly type of gentleman. Maybe if he changed his appearance, he'd look like a male model to drool over. "You don't know me very well," Cristine remarked with a shake of her head. "Regardless of what you say, I still admire you," he said, beaming as though speaking with her was a great honor. Cristine was a little uncomfortable. Cristine is unconcerned. "Yeah, whatever," she says. Cristine was relieved when the class ended and the two girls didn't bother her afterward. Cristine has finally figured out who the nerd with sapphire blue eyes is: Danielle Cruz. He doesn't want Cristine to forget his name at the end of the class. Cristine sat peacefully on the bench, waiting for her friends and older brother. She couldn't help but be a little bewildered. Do the students at this university have a tendency to stare people down in such a direct manner? What exactly is their problem? End of Text.
