CHAPTER 6: SIBLINGS

1576 Words
"Hey, what's going on here?" Clyde asks, his tone resembling that of a gossipy person attempting to acquire information. Cristine was perplexed as she observed her older brother approaching. She swiftly stooped down and shifted her glance away from her older brother, not attempting to meet his gaze. Clyde was also in the cafeteria, something she had forgotten about. "Let's go Hannah," Cristine says, grabbing Hannah's hand and rushing to the spot. Hannah returned her gaze to Cristine and nodded. Cristine is starving, no doubt about it. She's mostly in a rush because she's hungry. "Oh, hey, Clyde, long time no see," Tristan exclaimed, clearly knowing who he was talking to. Cristine's eyes narrowed in response to the two's near proximity. She had no idea how close her older brother and Tristan were. What a coincidence! Cristine reasoned that while they were conversing, it would be a good time to flee. While grabbing Hannah, she smirked and tried to go as quietly as she could. Someone tapped her shoulder before they went far. She turned around and returned the stare. She was greeted by Clyde's gorgeous face. Cristine could only think of one thing: she was dead. Cristine is fleeing to Clyde after stealing her older brother's card. She hadn't brought her card with her. There are several cards in Clyde's wallet; all you have to do is pick one. She needs to spend money, yet going back merely to obtain it is exhausting. Remember how she just got a ride? "Uy! It's you, Clyde," Cristine said, trying to give him a broad smile. She is clearly concerned that Clyde may hit her; nonetheless, she knows this is impossible. She keeps the flattering look on her face, oblivious to Clyde's twitching lips. "I'm pretty lucky today; I didn't expect to see you, but fate has been good to me," Cyde says with a grin. His entire being is eager to flaunt itself. With a hint of coquettishness in her voice, Cristine whispered to Clyde, "I will return your card later brother, please?" Cristine hoped Clyde was still in a high mood and agreed. Eavesdropping on the siblings' chat, Hannah and Tristan overheard Cristine refer to Clyde as her brother. Their expression is unusual. They didn't realize the two were related at all. Their companions are forgotten by both siblings. What would happen if someone found out about their girlfriend's operation? When Cristine looked at Tristan, who was lifting his brows at them, she was taken aback. Like a pufferfish, her mouth opened. "Don't worry, Cristine, Tristan is my friend. He understands how to keep a secret and won't tell anyone. Your friend knows how to keep her mouth shut, right?" Cristine's older brother inquired. Is there anything tricky about them? Cristine was perplexed as to why her brother was so vicious; her older brother was like a fortune teller, able to read her thoughts at any given moment. "I never expected you to still have a sister, Clyde," Tristan said calmly, despite his suspicions that they were linked by fate. Isn't it strange that we both know the same person? "Well, certainly, Tristan," Clyde says proudly, "meet my younger sister, Cristine Jane Hernandez." Cristine acts as if she isn't aware of Clyde's arrogance. It was becoming increasingly difficult to bear. Hannah was perplexed. "Wait, why do you have different last names?" she inquired. Cristine was surprised as to how Hannah recognized her brother's name. Is Clyde's surname well-known around campus? Well, it's a little difficult to explain their situation, but Cristine manages to do so in a concise manner. "My brother was taken by my father to his new family, while I stayed with my mother." Cristine tried to explain everything as plainly as she could. "My mother decided to change my surname to match my stepfather." Cristine is a little too indolent to elaborate. She's hungry right now. "Oh, okay," Hannah said, nodding as she recognized the siblings' complicated relationship. Families, after all, have their own quarrels, don't they? "Well, we're hoping you'll keep it a secret as well." “We don't want others to know about it," Clyde replied solemnly, but he simply did not want others to know that his false girlfriend was his sister. Tristan and his team simply nodded thoughtfully. If they are truly secretive about it, she was perplexed. Even if they're whispering, they're in the cafeteria, so maybe no one is listening in. "You can count on me, Cristine," Hannah stated solemnly, nodding to her as if it were a life or death situation. Cristine was bewildered by the situation. It was, nevertheless, quite amusing. "All right, all right, can we eat now?" Cristine coquettishly asked her brother, "I've been hungry for a while now, seriously," while grasping the corner of Clyde's t-shirt. Cristine's behavior was a little childish. "All right, all right, let's eat. You don't have to tug my clothing," Clyde said, amused by Cristine's hunger. Even though he was used to it, he still found it amusing. Many students are staring at them, but none of them have the bravery to approach. Christine was astonished by their behavior. Clyde invited Tristan to join them at their table. Tristan accepted. Cristine was a little irritated. She is adamantly opposed to Tristan's presence. Cristine had a sneaking suspicion that Tristan's presence would bring her bad luck. He'll bring her rotten luck. Her instincts are sometimes spot on. They sat at the cafeteria's middle table. Cristine was initially apprehensive because that table was a beacon for attention. She contemplates, though, that it was large enough for all of them to sit. Cristine pushed Hannah to accompany Clyde with their order. Their food is all over the floor and on the guy's table, so it's a good time to order again. Cristine is aware of the onlookers' interest. She is prepared for it, but she is not accustomed to it. Her skin isn't particularly thick. "Get used to it; you're on campus with well-known and attractive celebrities." Young master is brimming with arrogance. He can't help but compliment everyone on their good looks. They do, in fact, have that capital. The thickness of Tristan's face rendered her speechless. "The wind is so strong, I think I'm going to be blown away," Cristine sarcastically exaggerated before rolling her eyes. She can't stop herself from disagreeing with him. Tristan, Cristine thought, was like a walking electric fan, blowing wind all over the place. "You don't trust what he's saying?" a guy with light brown hair inquired. He had the skin of a porcelain doll. He has the potential to star in a vampire film. He's very attractive. With his perfectly carved face, he seemed like a member of a Kpop group. "I'm sorry, it's not really convincing," Cristine said, but her tone was not apologetic. Her tone conveys that she is indifferent. "Nice to meet you, Princess Cristine. My name is Allen, and it's my pleasure to meet our princess. From now on, I will be your servant," Allen remarked in a servant tone. Cristine wondered whether he had practiced that line in order for it to come out so flawlessly. The line was like something outside of a movie theater. "Alien, I mean Allen. I'm sorry, my tongue slipped. Where on the planet are you from?" "And for your information, my name is Cristine Jane. Cristine Jane, okay? Not Princess Cristine." Cristine raised her eyebrows at the guy. "I'm not hiring a servant because I don't need one right now," Cristine said, despite the fact that it was a declarative sentence. Cristine believes that having an attractive servant is helpful, but that it will bring her misery. Tch, such a face. It will entice ladies, and in turn, it will entice danger. Cristine acted as if she wasn't a woman at all. Tristan couldn't help but laugh. Cristine pondered aloud if mispronouncing Allen's name was amusing. Allen scratched his head in frustration. This guy, Cristine thought, had a nice mouth. He has a natural ability to fascinate women. "Can you tell me why you're laughing?" " Cristine couldn't help herself and had to ask Tristan. She seriously doubts that this man's mind is broken. Tristan narrowed his brows as he asked, trying Cristine's patience. "Why do you ask? Is laughing f*******n?" Cristine felt annoyed by his tone. Cristine is too lazy to argue, so he just says "tch" and leaves his question hanging. She seemed to be quite hungry. She doesn't have the energy to spend on him. Why are Hannah and her older brother taking so long to place their order? She was so hungry she could eat the entire table in front of her. "Why are you so quiet? Are you really hungry?" Tristan asked. He appeared to be a little anxious about his inquiry. She's almost convinced. "Isn't it apparent, young master?" Cristine murmured, her voice low in energy. She was regretting herself for not carrying her meal from the nerd's table. It's a complete waste. There are many starving people in the area, and students are simply squandering their food. "Clyde, hurry up. The princess wants to eat. She's hungry," Tristan said, announcing Cristine's hunger to everyone. Cristine had run out of energy. She wouldn't reply to anything. Her brain was full of ‘FOOD, FOOD. I wanted food. Where have you gone? WTF? Where's the food? Cristine is going to eat your food.' End of Text.
