That Day He Lost Her

PROLOGUE

“Hey there beautiful” I turned to face him. A man wearing a grey tux and I was again star struck. This man never fails to impress me. Every single day I fall in love with him even more. As I looked at his beautiful green eyes although I can see pure happiness but there’s evident sadness in his eyes.

“ Hi there handsome” I teasingly said. He walks towards me and left only a few inches.

“ I can’t believe we’re finally getting married” He said with excitement in his eyes. I love the way he looked at me. It makes me feel a lot of things. It makes me feel that I am the only girl in the world. It makes me feel so special. But now I’m really bothered about that sadness in his eyes.

“ Hey, It’s fine” I whispered to him. I then hugged him to make him feel that everything is going be alright. He also hugged me back and I can feel a movement in his shoulders.

“ Love? Are you crying?” I stepped back so I can clearly see his face. And there he is, tears falling from his beautiful eyes. God it hurts me to see him like this. I caressed his cheeks and start to wipe the tears. I stopped when he hold my hand.

“ Hey don’t cry, this is a wonderful day” I said that to comfort him. But it was not effective.

He stared at me, it feels like his memorizing my face. It feels like his reading my mind.

“ I love you” He suddenly said. Every time he said those three words I always feel like there are butterflies in my stomach.

“ I love you more Honey” I said and starred at him back. It Feels like we’re communicating through our minds.

“ I don’t want to lose you” He said and another tear left his eyes.

“You’re not going to lose me love, always remember that” I said before wiping that tear.
