Chapter 26- Next destination of two-month honeymoon

            When we started our honeymoon three weeks back we didn’t carry any bags with us. Everything needed was already arranged in our first destination – the island owned by the Cooper family. Dani told me to not to take anything from the island when we were heading to our next destination London. He told me that he will buy everything I needed from London. But I insisted to take some dresses as I don’t like wasting money. He just allowed me to take the sexy night dresses because he loves to see me in those. So, there was just a small bag to carry when we came to London. In London Dani brought me around a dozen of casual dresses and another dozen of formal. I knew that he will not allow me to take those with me as I know he would be buying more for me and for himself from Yorkshire.

            So, I made sure to give the dresses we used to the laundry service before I went to office. I did this without his knowledge. I packed all the casual dresses of both of us before we went to the Cooper villa. So, when I brought the two bags packed while checking out he was shocked.

“Don’t look at me like that Dani. I know you have a lot of money. But still we can’t waste them like water. You never have experienced importance of money but I have. So, here on I am not going to allow you to waste money for anything and everything.” I gave him a stern look.

“Ria, you just sound like mom. They say the truth; you are really a replica of my mom.” Dani surrendered.

I have kept back all the formal dresses I have used in the hotel room but made sure to keep it washed and pressed. So I had given them to the laundry service along with our casual dresses. Only dresses which were kept unwashed were the one we wore when we went to Cooper villa last night. I told one of the housekeeping staff whose name was Rita to keep the dress and that it is not washed. She was really happy hearing that. She was a nice woman probably in her early thirties. She thanked me for my kindness and said that she and her husband would wear it on their wedding anniversary next month. I know how she felt. It’s not easy for a middle class family to afford such a designer dress. I have lived such a life and experienced all the troubles which a middle class family faces.

 I requested the reception to send all our washed clothes to the apartment which Dani owned in London. There is a housekeeper who comes and cleans the apartment once in a week. So we can just inform her to receive the dresses at keep it in the apartment. We can use those dresses next time when we visit London. I have sworn to Dani that I will not stay in the hotel next time we visit London. I hate staying in a hotel room.

Few days before when Dani told me that our next destination would be Yorkshire, I had asked Dani that whether he had any apartments or houses in Yorkshire.  If he had then I would prefer to stay there and not in a hotel. He said no, he didn’t have any properties in Yorkshire.

All thanks to mom, we made up in time to board the flight. It will take 3 hours to reach Yorkshire. I have read about Yorkshire before but never thought even in my dreams that I would be able to go there. Yorkshire is the second place after London that people prefers to visit in England.

Even though my conversation with Sam and Emy is bothering me a lot, I told myself that it would be the first and last chance for me to enjoy my life alone with my dear husband. After our honeymoon Dani is going to join politics and he will be very busy. I would seldom get chance to spent time with him. I can tackle with the problems once I return from my honeymoon. Yorkshire, I am coming with my beloved to spend the most memorable days of my life.

I exchanged my seats with Dani as I wanted the window seat. Dani opened his laptop as soon as the flight took off. He is really a busy man. He manages all his business which is spread throughout the kingdom even though he is with me. But I never had any problem as he takes care of me despite of his work. God knows, how he manages everything so easily. He always praises his secretary Zack for managing everything so perfectly.  

When we reached Yorkshire first thing I did was to call mom and told her that we have reached and are going to hotel. I hung up telling her that we will call later. In last two weeks I had build up a strong bond with my mother in law. Dani complains that mom calls me more than him. In the beginning mom called me to give advice about business but now we talks about other things than business.

We got out of the airport and a car was waiting for us. We sat at the back seat. I asked him how long it will take to reach the hotel. He told me to take a nap as it will take about an hour. I wondered why he had booked hotel so far away from the airport. He assured me to take a nap and he will call me once we got there. But I was reluctant as I don’t want to repeat what happened yesterday. Reading my mind he said that he will not carry me when we reach there instead he will wake me up.

Dani woke me up when we reached our place. I was surprised to see that we are not standing in front of a hotel instead it’s a lovely seaside villa.

“Wow, it’s beautiful. Have you rented it? I thought we were going to stay in a hotel.” I was just lost in a trance that I got back with a jolt when Dani embraced me from behind. I raised my head and looked into his sea blue eyes. I could clearly see him as I reach only up to his chest. He is so tall. He kissed my forehead and gave me some keys. I looked puzzled.

“Your second wedding gift.” He said and pointed towards the villa.

I looked him in surprise. It is two storied villa facing the sea. The architecture of the villa is amazing. I couldn’t believe that Dani purchased the villa for me.

“When did you buy it?’I asked him.

“Well you told me that you don’t like to stay at hotels. So, I arranged someone to buy a house. But I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful. I should really raise the commission of the agent.” He said.

“No way Dani, you just bought it because I said I don’t like to stay at hotels. That’s weird.” I can’t believe that he will do such a thing. Is he mad? We are never going to come back and stay here in near future. So what’s the purpose of buying it? He could have rented it instead.     

“You could have rented it Dani. What am I going to do with this villa? It was okay with the hospital as it’s really dear to me, but not this Dani. Just cancel the deal. I can’t have it.” I insisted him to return the villa.

“Ria, I am not a fool. And don’t ever think that I don’t value money. I don’t waste money. You forgot that I am a business man. This is an asset Ria. Yorkshire is a tourist place and the demand for seaside villas is high. People coming here with family often prefer single villas. So, we can put it on rent when we are not here. We can hire a caretaker and give him the charge of the Villa. That way you can earn an income plus you give someone a full time employment. So, it’s a benefit, you see.” Dani explained his plan.

            I entered the villa with Dani. It is a fully furnished villa with all the necessary items. There is a bedroom, a living room, a dining area and a kitchen on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first floor each with balconies. Two of the rooms had balconies facing the sea and the other room had a balcony facing the backyard of the villa. There is small pool at the backyard. All in all it was just suitable to accommodate a small family.

            Dani put our bags in the master bedroom at the top floor. Meanwhile I checked the kitchen for something to make for lunch. It’s already 3 o’clock and my stomach is grumbling. I just wanted to eat something as am not very fond of making food. Dani came into kitchen after a while and seeing me searching the kitchen he said.

“Don’t worry honey; you don’t have to make the food. I have sent the driver to get some food. He will be here soon.” He has changed his clothes after shower. Look at him he is so clean and look at you, all messed up. I should have taken a shower first then thought about my stomach which has started to make noises.

“Okay, then I will take a shower before the food arrives” I left the kitchen.

When I came back to down after taking a shower Dani was already setting the table. Driver has delivered the food. I stood at the doorway admiring him. He is a really a man with golden heart. He is so different from his cousins. I am really lucky to be his wife. Oh God never do us apart. He loves me so much and gives me every single thing he could to make me happy. How could I ever repay him? The most valuable happiness I could give him will be a baby. I am now eager to become mother of his child. God please bless me to bear his child in my womb.

“Baby, come let’s have lunch.” Dani said pulling out a chair. I went and sat on it and he sat next to me. He served the food while I was looking at him without blinking my eyes. I came out of the reverie when he asked me to open my mouth holding a spoon of fried rice. He took time to feed me and barely ate himself. He is not very fond of food which is an exact opposite of what I am. I just love to eat and I am not health conscious. After having lunch I cleaned the dishes even when he tried to stop me.

“No, Dani go and take some rest. It’s just a few plates. I will join you after finishing this.” I said and continued to do the work. After finishing with the dishes when I turned back I saw that Dani is still there staring at me. I walked towards him and looked into his blue eyes filled with love. When I first met him these eyes were as cold as eyes but they are warm with love and care. He winked at me and took me from the ground and held me in his arms. He carried me to the bedroom and he was not up to any good.

“Dani, put me down. Not now dear.” I said.

“No, my work out of the day is not completed. You know I work out for 2 to 3 hours. I have just done a half an hour work out. 1 and a half hour is balance. So let’s start my baby.” He said with a smirk and started to unbutton his shirt revealing his muscular chest. We ended up making out three times before going to bed.
