Chapter 7: Soul Impression

Tarun opened his eyes and found himself sleeping on his bed with Sister Maria on his side tending him.

Before Sister Maria could notice that Tarun was now awake, he closed his eyes again and called to system.

'System, why did I suddenly black out? And show me detailed stats of my body.'

~Host fainted because the up-gradation had an anomaly.

Found another Bloodline power dormant inside of the Host, which clashed with the Vampire Progenitor's Bloodline.

Up-gradation was successful but it won't be possible to upgrade further as that bloodline will also awaken at level 4 and clash with the progenitor's.

Host is suggested to cast aside that bloodline.

*Able to influence blood inside/outside of the victim (Victim Needs to either have his/her magic barrier down or should have a lower Rank than the Host. Distance: 7 Meters)

*Able to squeeze the heart inside of the victim or take it out of his/her body (Victim needs to either have his/her magic barrier down or should have a lower Rank than the Host. Distance: 2 Meters)

Note - Powers will upgrade and mutate according to the progress of host. If Host wants to upgrade a power early, he can use blood essence to exchange it from the system store. ~

Tarun now opened his eyes and suddenly caught Sister Maria's hand.

"Ah, Tar… I mean Young Master Tarun, you are awake! Yes! let me call the Father"

Said Sister Maria with a little teary eye. As she was about to stand up and rush towards outside, Tarun tightened his grip and Maria fell on Tarun's bed.

Before she could say anything, Tarun kissed her on the lips to shut her up and used his > on her to make her his slave!

Tarun then bit down on her neck and drank some blood as the part of this ceremony and Maria's eyes glowed deep red for a minute, after which the black luster came again in her eyes as everything went back to the way it was. Even the bite mark had gone and Maria got up from the bed, bent on one knee and performed a ceremonial greeting.

"Maria greets Master!"

"You are the most delicious virgin I've ever had, Maria. *grin*

Come here, let me savor you fully!"

Said Tarun with a lustful expression on his face.

Maria got into the bed and smiled at Tarun while saying

"Maria is all yours, Master"

And then Tarun took her chastity under the same roof she swore to be pure in front of the Holygrail.

After 3 Hours had Passed, Maria and Tarun came out of the Room looking completely normal as if nothing happened and seeing them come out, People who were in the corridor excitedly rushed to them.

"Exorcist Tarun! You're awake! How are you feeling? "

"Exorcist Tarun! We were so worried that you weren't going to wake up as the Father tried everything and still couldn't get any reaction from you."

Tarun comforted them a little and acted a little weak and sad and a short while later, Albert and John came towards Tarun and said in a delighted voice

"Young Master Tarun, you are finally awake! How are you feeling?"

"Young Master Tarun, let's first go to the Holy chamber, Christopher was just about to head towards the TwinPearl city to get help for you!"

Listening to this, Tarun was scared witless.

'Damn, I was just passed out for a day and you idiots wanted to notify the HolyFlame Church! Are you trying to kill me?'

"There is no need for that, I am just about to head out towards the TwinPearl city myself!"

By this time, someone also called Christopher and as he heard this, he immediately said,

"Young Master Tarun, don't go just yet! At least wait for a couple of days until you feel a little better. TwinPearl city is at least 2000 Miles away, what if something happens on your way to there?"

"There is no need Priest Christopher. I think I am feeling alright. By the way, what is the situation of the Imperial militia?"

"Oh, you don't need to worry about that young master. Steve, their Captain has taken over the position of the General. Oh right, He is also here praying in the main hall."

Tarun, still with the sad and regretful expression clasped his hands and bowed before Steve, and before Steve could say anything, Tarun took out a Gold Card Worth 1000 gold coins he kept ready before coming out of the room!

Gold wasn't a normal form of currency in the Green-River City as it was too valuable and instead silver and copper coins were used.

A 1000 copper coins equaled to 1 silver coin, a 1000 silver coins equaled to 1 gold coin and a 1000 gold coins equaled 1 gold card! Tarun Actually searched Brutus's body before burning it and found a Spatial ring which contained his life savings and the yearly tribute he was about to send to the Imperial Royal Family. Although that spatial ring wasn't of any use to Tarun in the upcoming future as he saw a handful of Spatial abilities in the system store earlier. But that ring had a space of 1 cubic meter and contained some gold and silver coins and also 3 gold cards, 1 being in the tribute with some other magic artifacts and some miscellaneous everyday use items.

Although Tarun didn't have to give this to Steve, but if Steve was unable to present his yearly tribute to the Royal family, no one knew what might happen. If someone would come from the TwinPearl city to investigate, Tarun would be screwed.

"Please accept this insignificant offering as my apology."

'Everyone on the scene was shocked! Are you kidding me! A gold card as an insignificant apology? What?'

Steve being cunning himself didn't directly refuse the gesture, and said,

"Ah! This…, I will accept this so you can feel a little better and maybe then you will be able to pull yourself out from your grief, Young Master Tarun."

Said Steve as he was extremely happy from the inside and thought that Tarun coming to this city was a blessing for him. He was even considering marrying off his daughter to Tarun, for whom a gold card was an 'Insignificant' thing.

Christopher and company were cursing Steve in their minds and wanted nothing more than to slap his greedy mouth out of jealousy.

'What greedy grief? You cunning…!'

"General Steve, Young Master Tarun is still a little unwell and so we should let him rest."

Said Albert, he feared that if they chatted a little more, Tarun might throw another gold card at him.

Steve also complied as he feared that Tarun might ask for the gold card back after his state of mind gets a little better and hence rushed out of the church.

"Priest Christopher, accept this as a compensation for your goodwill of treating me, and taking care of my accommodation for these past few days."

Said Tarun while handing out another gold card to Christopher!

Christopher accepted it at a lightning speed and said,

"Young Master Tarun is too generous!"

This made all the 3 Pastors extremely happy and then Tarun departed from the Church. Tarun had already copied all the maps available in the library and the system presented the map in his mind highlighting his position in the map as he walked forward.

After Tarun has exited the city and reached a narrow road surrounded by forest, He changed into a more normal clothing which was available in the spatial ring.

While he was walking down the road, a voice suddenly sounded in his mind.

and Tarun disappeared in the shadows with a grin on his face.
