Part 1: The Vampire Princess - Chapter 0
"Player Ivy has begun the first quest in the novel "Return of the Vampire Blood ''. In this novel, she is a supporting character, Ivy Jezebel, the Princess of the vampire empire. The heroine is Ame Horran, just a common half-vampire. Originally, the two would not interact at all, but her fiance and her brother fell in love with Ame Horran, so Ivy tried to kill the heroine. But unexpectedly, Ivy died at the hands of her brother…”
Ivy looked at her reflection in the system's mirror. A girl with white skin as clear as glass, black curly hair loosely used, a lady's aura is truly unmistakable. This is her face in real life, but the only difference is her blood red eyes and two fangs that show up when she smiles.
Ivy mourned the fate of the supporting female character, sighing, “And I have to find a way to escape death?”
The small robot rotates its square head to look at her:
"That's right. More than that, you must help those around you not to turn into villains, and at the same time help your brother to get rid of thoughts of wanting to usurp the heroine."
The robot saw Ivy looking depressed. It encouraged her: "Don't worry too much, I’ve given you the right to use your own face and real name for your character so you don't have to memorize it too much."
Ivy looked at her sharp beauty in the mirror, nodded, "Okay."
As soon as Ivy finished speaking, her surroundings turned blindingly white. The system slowly moved, Ivy felt her body being pulled by a very strong force, there were many details in the story appearing in her mind. Ivy knew that it was the system that was transmitting to her head.
The present time Ivy came to this world was ten minutes before her brother met the heroine Ame. Ivy looked at the beautiful girl with a sleepy face in the mirror, took a deep breath, and got up to change and groom herself. When the servant pushed open the door and entered, seeing that her Princess had finished dressing, she bowed her head in surprise:
"Your Highness Princess."
Ivy didn’t respond. According to the novel's details, 'herself' was a cold, arrogant person, so she had to imitate ‘her’ actions.
"Where's my brother?"
The maid respectfully bowed her head and replied, "He's getting ready to go out."
Ivy did a mental calculation, quickly running downstairs to prevent her brother from meeting Ame.
The palace was large, with very special landscape paintings on the walls, completely different from the ones she saw in real life.
Ivy hurried to the big gate, and indeed, standing there stood a tall man with short blond hair, broad shoulders with his back to her. Ivy ran up and jumped on the man's back, wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Bro, where are you going? Let me go with you."
Ivy felt the man's hard muscles suddenly tighten, her brother didn't respond to her. Ivy could not understand, it is clear in the story that before the appearance of the heroine, Ivy and her brother were very close.
Ivy thought if she was late, maybe her brother had already met Ame, then suddenly a voice spoke from behind her:
"Princess, what are you doing?"
Ivy turned around in surprise, looking at the red-eyed, brown-haired man walking up to him. Seeing the man's face bear some resemblance to Ivy, Ivy groaned inwardly. Wrong person!
Ivy quickly jumped down and ran to her real brother's side. She smiled shyly, "I, I just woke up, so I have the wrong person."
The blond man turned around, his blood red eyes stopped in front of her gorgeous face, he smiled:
"Your Highness Princess is still as innocent as ever."
Ivy looked at him suspiciously. The man has hair as shiny as rice ripe in the sun, a masculine angular face, and purple lips typical of a vampire. His every movement carried the aristocracy of a noble.
Ivy tried to remember the details of the story but did not remember this blond man. Perhaps because of the appearance of Ivy, the plot also changed a bit?
"Ivy, it's okay if you don't remember, you were young then." Maxwell laughed, "This is Duke Arthur Phynn, the one you saved."
Surprised Ivy, “I had saved him?”
Ivy is very skeptical of the plot, because in the story depicting her as a cruel person from a young age, how can he be saved?
"Yes, Princess."
Arthur nodded. He took a step forward, extending his hand. Ivy gently placed her hand on Arthur's large hand, just an ice-coldness, because both of them were vampires.
Arthur leaned down and placed a kiss on the back of Ivy's white hand. From Ivy's corner, she could only see thick lashes that fell over his red pupils. If I were out of reality now, Ivy would probably pursue this man. But now her life depended on the success of the mission, so she couldn't be too focused on other things.
Ivy quickly withdrew her hand, but Arthur held her hand tightly. He was smiling, but somehow Ivy felt the man wasn't as friendly as he appeared to be, as if he was up to something.
Ivy thought to herself. After all, she was a pampered Princess from a young age, so now if she hit Arthur, nothing would happen. But it seemed that Arthur saw through her thoughts. He immediately let go, his thin lips lifted as if he was teasing her.
Ivy ignored him, she looked at the starry sky outside, turned to ask Maxwell:
“Where are you going?”
Maxwell put on his cape, grinning to reveal two sharp fangs, "Hunting."
Currently, vampires and humans are no longer killing each other, but humans still don't like them too much. In order to limit the occurrence of incidents that cause animosity between the two sides, the King has banned vampires from sucking human blood. Therefore, vampires only hunt wild animals to maintain their bloodlust. Although there will be times when the rules are broken, those are just a few.
Ivy looked at her brother who was getting ready for the night hunt. Ivy thought to herself that she had extended the time so long, he probably wouldn't have met the heroine. However, just to be sure, Ivy decided to go with Maxwell.
Seeing Ivy put on a pink cape, Maxwell was surprised:
"Don't you hate hunting?"
Ivy expressed herself as an adult, her big eyes curled up with laughter, "Everyone has to change when they grow up."
