INTO THE PACK'S DEN
My eyes slowly fluttered opened and I was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. I was lying on a soft bed. Wait, this isn't Kael's room, where am I?.
I was confused, I was trying to take in my surrounding, that's when I saw him-the werewolf stranger, walking towards me with a smile on his face.
"finally you're free from Kael's bondage" he said his voice low and smooth.
My eyes locked onto his, and I took a deep breath, finding the courage to ask him the question that was burning in my mind,"where am I?"
He chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement.
"Let's say far better than Kael's room" he said, his words dripping with implication.
Then he sat down beside me to explain everything. I had lost a lot of blood due to what Kael and his vampire gangs did to me... I almost lost my life, they rushed me to the werewolves to be quickly treated, but my case was so serious that I had been on coma for three days, he said they had to do a lot of blood transfusion on me because I was pale as a ghost. I could notice it, I still look pale.
So now I'm in the possession of the werewolves, Kael sold me back, after my treatment I will go back to the cage that I belong, and I was now a captive in a new den. But as I met the stranger's gaze, i felt a spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this new situation wouldn't be so bad. At least I was away from Kael's cruelty.
I shuddered at the thought of my former captor, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. Being with the werewolves might be better than being with Kael, who was wicked to the core
