“…Sa…Sa…Nic…” my ears perked up.
“Is that your radio!” I exclaimed as I rubbed the towel over my wet hair. Samuel had just pulled on his black shirt to finish getting dressed as the crackle of radio alerted us.
“Sam…Sa…Nico?”. I looked at Samuel and he rushed over to pick it up.
“Sam… Sam… Nico” Nico said clearly down the radio as he came into range of the house.
“Go ahead Nico” he replied as he tightened his belt around his waist.
“We need everyone who is medically trained to meet us at the front of the house in 5”. My heart dropped into the pit of my stomach when I heard his demands over the radio. I was desperate to find out who was hurt.
