Chapter 33 The next week involved more of the same. The routine was always the same. The hand-to-hand combat sessions left me bruised and feeling dejected because I wasn’t improving that much. The Lightning training made me feel a bit better, but I still needed to work on my shield. I had improved immensely with my telepathy and telekinesis, so I was happy about that. Blocking training was getting me down. I’d lost count of how many memories had been dragged up and most of them weren’t pleasant. If it wasn’t for Daniel’s love and support, I would have lost my sanity by now. Daniel was my rock. His arms were a barrier against reality and I could get lost in his kisses at the end of each day. He helped me with some of the difficult moves in combat training and massaged my tired muscles. I
