The next day after some combat training, I was supposed to report to Xander for Blocking training again. I needed to hurry up and learn how to block him before I lost my mind.
As I walked slowly through the corridor with my shadow trailing behind me, Sarinda came round a corner and nearly ran into me.
“You b***h! What are you trying to do? First Malvolio, then Daniel, and now you’re after Xander too! You’re nothing but a w***e!”
I wondered how she’d found out and was surprised it had taken three weeks. “I’m not after Xander. I’m not the least bit interested. He kissed me, not the other way around!”
“He kissed you? f*****g hell! I can’t believe this is happening! You can’t steal someone’s partner once they’ve formed a Connection with someone else.”
