Uncomfortable Conversation

*Jayce POV*

Jade? What's going on? Who is he?

Go touch him. I need to feel him. Prefer to feel all of him and taste him. He looks yummy.

"Micah. We need to get home please. I think the three of us need to have a very uncomfortable sit down."

Little Bird, what's wrong?

I....I think he has some connection to me.

 I didn't want to tell him how Jade was acting and how she wants me to behave. I do want to hear what Alpha Sean has to say.

*Micah POV*

This entire interaction is freaking me out. I have never had another Alpha show up on my pack lands unannounced like this. 

I looked over at Jayce sitting in the passenger seat. She was staring out the window deep in thought. Something was up with her wolf. Mason could sense it. I was starting to feel it too and it was making me uneasy. 

Talk to me Mason. What the hell is going on?

His wolf, he wants her. 

What?! She's mine!

I didn't realize my grip tightening on the steering wheel or the deep growl coming from my chest until I felt her hand on my arm. 

"Micah? What's wrong baby?"

"This day has just turned to hell and my mind is racing. Mason is uneasy too." I glanced over at her. Her eyes were starting to fill with tears. I just reached over and held her hand. 

As we pulled into the driveway, I realized Jayce had fallen asleep holding my hand. I carried her into the house and laid her in our bed before heading back down to meet Alpha Sean.

"Alpha. Please, come in. My Luna fell asleep on the drive home. She is in bed resting. So, what can I do for you?"

"Please, call me Sean. Your Luna is a very special lady and deserves the rest. She is the reason I am here actually. When did she first shift?"

"Well, this past Friday at midnight. Saturday was her 18th birthday. She had no idea she was even wolf until a few short hours prior. Her parents disappeared when she was very young. They made her older brother promise to raise her as human. They thought that would give her the most 'normal' life."

"That explains my wolf. Sirus has been going crazy all weekend. It started at 12:01am Saturday, right after she shifted. He woke me up as soon as he sensed her. He has driven me to look for her and today, I finally did. I don't know how to tell you this but, she is my mate as well."

I stood up with such force the armchair I was in flew backwards and shattered into the wall. 

"What?! She is mine! There is no way. Your wolf must be confused." I had heard of it before but never had anything this close to home. How would Jayce feel? 

"Her wolf, she's larger than most, correct? Fire red fur and glowing blue eyes?" I just looked his direction and nodded. How did he know?

"Here, look at this. It's the only explanation I could find. Once I found out she was marked and mated, I was angry. She is my mate. How could somebody else claim her as theirs? According to this book, a female red wolf is extremely rare. Every female red has been found to have two mates. Each one also seems to have unique abilities. Some can heal, some can control the elements, there have been reports of mind control, and some of teleportation. I think that might be why her parents didn't want her to know the truth. It would explain a lot."

I read over what he had handed me and it 100% made sense. My girl, well I guess now our girl, was special. I didn't want to wake her up, but we needed to talk. 

"I'll go wake her up. We need to talk. This is huge." 

"No need, I'm already up. So, I'm special. Who would have thought? Could this maybe be why my heat came on hard and fast?"

She looked at me with those baby blues. Her hair was matted to her sweat covered face. She was already wearing close to nothing. Her night gown was clinging to her body. I wanted nothing more than to help her break that heat. By the look on Sean's face and how dark his eyes where, he had a few ideas too. 

"Sit down Little Bird. Sean can explain and answer any questions you have. I'll get you some ice water and some cold rags. It won't help much but it's the best we can do at this moment." As I walked into the kitchen, I heard Sean start to explain everything. 

*Jayce POV*

This room was getting too hot for me. I need these clothes off now. Maybe I can go jump in the pool. The water Micah brought me helped for as long as I was drinking it but that's it. The more Sean talked, the worse it got.

"Guys, as much as I would love to sit around and chit chat all day, I need to cool down. Now. You can stay here and chat if you want but, I'm going for a swim."

I walked out the back door and felt both sets of eyes watching my every move. I walked to the steps in the pool and stripped down. That first step into the pool felt like heaven. Once I was all the way down the steps, I walked until the water was up to my shoulders and sunk down to soak my hair. It felt so good. I couldn't help but just close my eyes and let the water cover my body. I didn't hear when my Alphas came outside. My Alphas. I like the sound of that.

"Goddess, she is stunning." I opened my eyes to see Sean, drink in hand, watching me just float around. This water was crystal clear and I was very much so naked. I knew he could see me and I didn't care. Micah was behind him with a little grin on his face. 

I'm going to go into town and get some steaks for dinner. Seems we have a new roommate for the time being. Why don't you take that time to get to know Sean a bit better?

Are you implying what I think you are Cowboy? Get lots of food. I'm starving. Oh, and Gatorade too! I feel like I can't stay hydrated. Are you sure you don't want company?

Baby, you are in heat. No public outings for you. Trust me, I'll get us all enough fuel. I think we might be a little busy this week. I'll be back. Have fun.

He gave me a little wink before filling Sean in and giving him a pat on his shoulder and headed off to town. Sean turned and looked back at me and smiled.

"Looks like we have some time to get to know each other. Your boyfriend seems to have no problem in sharing, but I want, I need to know how you feel."
