The next day, we met up at the mall, browsing through various stores and trying to find the perfect gift. As we were shopping, I heard a familiar voice behind me. "Hey, what a coincidence!" I turned around to see Ethan standing there with his sister

As we stood there, Ethan and I chatted for a bit, catching up on each other's day. Emily, his sister, was bubbling with excitement, insisting that she had dragged him to the mall today to shop for some new clothes.

Ethan smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'll get a gift for her. I'll see you tomorrow at your house, and I'll bring it with me." I thanked him, feeling grateful for his kindness.

As I searched for the perfect gift for Lily, I stumbled upon a stunning children's gown that caught my eye. It was a bit pricey, but I knew Lily would love it. I decided to splurge and bought the dress, along with a few other outfits, some jewelry, and toys. Rachel and I had a great time shopping together, and I was excited to see Lily's face light up when she saw the gift.

After finishing shopping with Rachel, I dropped her off at her house, waving goodbye as she stepped out of the car. "Don't forget, you're invited to Lily's birthday party tomorrow!" I reminded her with a smile. Rachel grinned and promised to be there before heading into her house.

As I drove home, I saw my brother Max walking around the house. He spotted me and came over, curiosity getting the better of him. "What did you get for Lily?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Must you know? It's a secret, it's a surprise for her," I said with a smile. Max nodded and said "okay" before wandering off.

I went to my room, feeling satisfied with the gifts I had chosen for Lily. At dinner time, we all sat down together as a family, chatting happily about Lily's birthday party the next day.
