Chapter Sixteen: Canine Camp

Wolves walked around the edge of the camp site. There were a few tents for those who arrived the night before. There was a large divider in the middle of the camp. The huge sheet was tied from the tree closest to us and ended several feet away; it blocked the view from the right to the left. I was afraid to ask what its purpose was. The campground they chose was the least dense I had seen so far. The wooded area opened up a bit. The trees blocked the sun, but the heat remained. I desperately wanted to change into the basketball shorts and tank top I was told to bring. I looked to my right to see Rose walking over to me, her bright eyes matching the lush forest floor.
