Chapter 15

Waverly's POV

We were seated in Xavier's office. When you come in there is a chair sitting in the middle and two couches on either side. Xavier's wooden desk is sitting across from the chair so that he could see all of the people in the room in case they had a small meeting in here. I was sitting on one of the couches holding my mate's hand, his father was across from us on the other couch and May had taken a seat in the chair looking between the three of us. She looked over at me and gave me a small nod, "Alphas Waverly needs to tell you both about something and then I would like to give my opinion or rather my assumption on what she has to tell you both. I would like to add that you keep your temper under control and a hold on your wolves." Once she was finished I took a deep breath and filled them in on what I saw.

"I would like to say that, the man in this dream or premonition rather standing beside me I honestly believe he is the Alpha no one mentions. I only think this because he looks so much like you two, only his eyes are pitch black. I also do not want this to come to pass and I do not want to be evil, but the dream is coming everyday now and I think that no matter what I do it will happen." After saying this I looked at Xavier in his eyes and said "I am so scared, that I will become evil." I hadn't noticed I had tears streaming down my face until Xavier wiped them away. "Shush my love, Rom and I will not let anything happen to you. I promise." He spoke so sweetly to me, but even I know that no matter what he says this is a promise he won't be able to keep. I simply smile and nod my head in accepting that my mate will protect me while hiding my fear from him and to be honest from myself.

Xavier's father hasn’t spoken a word but his eyes were aglow and darker shade letting me know his wolf was very close to the surface and ready to destroy the man I now know is Gideon, the rouge Alpha. He was trying hard to keep him at bay. 

"If I may give my opinion or assumption on the matter at hand here?" May was looking between all of us. "Yes, go ahead." Xavier answered for all of us as it seems we were all at a loss for words. May smiled, "Thank you Alpha. I believe that this is a test for Waverly and like she said this future is going to come to pass whether we like it or not. So what we have to do is make sure you Waverly are ready. You must always remember the light, hone in on it especially while the events surrounding this dream start to unfold. I believe the woman on the other side is a dark witch, they have a direct link to Ravannah so much so that he can take over for small periods of time." She paused for a moment, and before I could ask her about my powers she started again. "I know you think that Waverly's powers should be able to deter this future, unfortunately if I am right about the dark witch she will be using an ancient magic that only Ravannah would have access to. Since he killed most of his people and for the most part dark witches are very scarce, only he would be able to give those spells to the woman you have been seeing. With the power she already possesses and the aid of Ravannah she will be able to override your powers so you will not be able to use them unless she wants you too. Which seems to be what is happening in your dream, you are being controlled by them and Ravannah for his benefit he will use you to try and release him. Just like he is using you to wipe out your own pack in your dream. I suggest that we find a light witch to help with dampening the effects of the spell they will use on you so that you will be able to mentally fight the darkness and regain the light. If you can do this and then act the part, I think we can lure them into their own trap." May smiled to herself proud of the strategy she came up with, but also that means I would still have to fall into their trap as well before I can begin to foil their plans.

"I do not like this plan at all. How will we be able to find a light witch? Also if your dreams are coming every night just about doesn’t that mean they will be coming for her soon, like very soon? I feel like we don’t have time to accomplish this." Xavier was stressed he had pulled me onto his lap to breath in my scent to keep him and Rom calm. Ex-Alpha Carter still hasn’t spoken a word, but his knuckles are white from how hard his fists are balled up and the aura coming from him screams of murderous intent. "I have to go find your mother and fill her in on this. Waverly, I will do everything in my power to make sure my brother NEVER gets his hands on you and if he somehow does I will be there every step of the way to get you back and make him pay. Xavier my only request is that you let me KILL the piss of s**t myself." Ex-Alpha Carter and his wolf dueled there voice on his last sentence growling out their need to make him pay and not just with humiliation this time but by death. "Father, I will definitely allow you the honors when that time comes. For now we need to find a light witch." Xavier responded with determination lacing his words.

I think that the moon goddess and Eden are watching out for us as we had a visitor the very next day. She was young but she looked very wise and strong. You could feel the power rolling off of her, not in an intimidating way though more like to remind you not to test her. She is very bubbly and happy always smiling, something that makes me think about Fairies by how she acts and carries herself. May says that all light witches are like this since they give off good energy and thrive off of good energy as well.  She has long golden blonde hair and pretty green eyes that have a little gold specks in them. We met her as we were heading out to the training grounds to check on the warriors and the other pack members both men and women and some of the younger teenagers who wanted to train to help protect the pack in the upcoming war.

"Alpha, Luna, Elder May, this woman refused to stay at the border and well she teleported here after I told her to wait." Thomas was looking at her strangely as he was walking up behind the young warrior who had greeted us and told us about our visitor. I watched him closely another one of my powers is to be able to see the connections of the mate bond, that was given to me by the moon goddess herself to help the pack continue to grow and prosper. "I do apologize that I didn’t stand and wait but it is of the utmost importance that I see you as soon as possible." she smiled sweetly while bowing to us. "What is your name and why have you come here?" I asked her and then linked with my mate. 'Xavier, Rom calm down. She doesn’t have any evil in her at all, she is very much heavily covered with the light. I think she is here to help us. I also think she might be Thomas' mate.' I giggled at the last part before I cut the link. "My name is Bemiyrah, but you can call me Bema. I was visited by the Goddess Eden, and then the moon goddess helped lead me to you. I am here to help you with your powers that can only be used within the mind. Kind of how Eden came to you in the form of a wind when you were unconscious during your awakening. Also I will help with the dampening spell to counter react the controlling spell the enemy will use on you." She smiled back at us waiting for me to absorb the information and accept her help.

"I would greatly appreciate that, Xavier love, I am going to get an Omega to set up a room for her to stay here to help with my training. If you are ok with me skipping out on going to observe the training that is." I looked at my mate smiling at how excited I am to have more help when I thought that it would be up to me to figure out how to keep my mind strong and how to fight when I am not in control of my body. "Of course love, I linked an Omega already after you told me she was here to help, they should have the room ready soon. I love you and will see you when I get back from checking on everything around the pack." with that he kissed my forehead and headed out with the others, except Thomas. Thomas still hasn’t moved or said a word since he walked up earlier. "Thomas." I called, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of Bema who still had her back to him. "Thomas… is everything alright?" After saying this and still silence Bema turned around to see who I was talking to. "Well Bema, I don’t know what has gotten into him, but this is our fastest warrior/tracker here at the pack Thomas Ferrell, he has a twin sister Kali as well. Thomas are you going to stand there with your mouth open or are you going to say Hi?" I had my eyebrow arched at him. He finally snapped out of it, but what he said was shocking to Bema, but not to me. "Hello, Mate." as he stepped closer to her the shock slipped from her face and Bema's smile couldn’t have gotten any bigger. Looks like was have a light witch as a member of the pack now.
