Chapter 14

Chapter 14   Meanwhile… Gideon's POV   Things were not going the way I wanted them to. Marcus and the boys found out where Waverly was and we know she was found by the Blood Moon Pack's Alpha Xavier. Just so happens that he is her mate, but lucky us she still hasn’t woken up from her coma and is in the hospital in the human city. They seem to have moved her after the Amber Alert went out, probably to keep the police from trying to look for her so close to a werewolf pack. Smart, but easier for me to get to her. I had Marcus send someone to scout out the hospital and see what we could do to get in and take her. I was thinking over our plans and what we would do once we have her here, along with making sure our makeshift pack hospital would suffice until she woke up. As I was walking towards my office I heard a loud crash and the sound of something shattering. "What in the hell could that be?" I said out loud quite irritated, an Omega walking by coward a little before scurrying off down the hall.   As I opened the door and started to walk in another object came flying right towards my head. I moved quickly to get out of the way as my ashtray shattered against the wall behind me. "WHAT IN THE HELL, CLEO!!" I yelled out, looking over my office it was basically destroyed. She had smashed just about anything she could get her hands on, along with the fact that my desk is now cracked straight through the middle. I was shaking with anger, this witch keeps pushing me and my wolf and she is going to pay one of these days! 'We should really kill this b***h, once we have no use of her. DO NOT even think about sleeping with her again. I will MAKE sure it doesn’t work!' Hades growled out in my mind. He hated her more and more each day, and it is worse now that she has been staying with us. "CLEO! Answer me WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" I yelled out at her. She was standing with her back to me in front of my desk, breathing heavily might I add. 'Something is wro-' Hades never got to finish that sentence, as she spun around so fast that I would have missed it if not for being a werewolf. She grabbed me by the throat and slammed me up against the wall with such force it made me wince from the contact my head made when it hit. I opened up my eyes knowing full well Hades was going to be out, but as soon as I saw her I knew it wasn’t her. Staring back at me with the most evil scowl on her face, her eyes black as night was Ravannah. He had taken over her body again.   "DON’T YOU EVER YELL AT ME LIKE THAT! You pathetic stupid pup!" her voice manipulated to a very pissed off man's sneering at me inches from my face. Once again I couldn’t hold in the shiver that ran through my whole body at seeing Ravannah's pure rage being directed at me. I was struggling to breathe as her hold on me was getting tighter and tighter. I was a little worried that he would kill me right here and now. I could feel the rage inside him brewing to the top, ready to pour out and destroy all in its path enemy or not. "I-I am s-sorry my L-Lord. I di-didn't know it w-was you." I choked out, trying but effectively failing to get more oxygen into my lungs. They were beginning to burn from the lack of it and I wasn't sure how much longer I would be conscious if he didn’t let go. With one last sneer in my face and a very tight squeeze he let me go. I fell to my knees gasping for air, once I recovered I stayed in my kneeling position and for the first time in my life, I an Alpha bowed in submission. I could feel the disgust my Alpha blood was screaming at the sheer fact that I submitted when Alpha's never submit. 'Don't look him in the eye, he is waiting for a challenge.' Hades said to me from the recesses of my mind. He wasn't going to be present for this, he was really unnerved about Ravannah and to be honest so was I. Just what have it gotten myself into. 'Power, it's what we have always wanted and why we allow ourselves to be his puppet' Hades reminded me once again from somewhere far in the recesses of my mind.   I didn’t move, I just stayed in the same kneeling position waiting for him to speak. I know he didn’t show up for no reason. "It is imperative that you get the girl as soon as possible. She isn't in her coma anymore and neither is she at the hospital." My head shot up with his words. "What do you mean she is awake? Our tracker said that there has been no change and that she hasn't moved from the hospital." I said to him bewildered at why he would be thinking she was awake. A high pitched laugh resonated within my office and the amused and unimpressed look on Cleo's face said I had been fooled. Once he stopped laughing he peered down at me, the air in the room became thick with power and rage. So much rage. A cold hard look plastered on Cleo's face. If I thought she could looked anymore wicked I was wrong. When Ravannah was in control of her he made her look absolutely diabolical and unhinged. "Do NOT question the knowledge that I hold. They moved her during the night, the humans now believe she died and they have declared he deceased, turning their investigation into a cold case. The problem now lies with the fact that she has mated and been marked by Alpha Xavier, her mate. If not for me this would have destroyed the plans you have been making. Lucky for you I was watching more closely, then any of you." I went to say something but was cut off by a sneer as I began to speak. "DO NOT INTERRUPT ME! YOU ARE THIN ICE AS IT IS AND I DO NOT MAITAIN MY ANGER VERY WELL!" He yelled out at me, making me once again drop my head to keep from looking at him. I felt every bit the pup he had referred to me as when I first came in and that was a hard thing to do to an Alpha. It pissed me off but then again I am just a mere puppet to a hell bent God.   "As I was saying, you are lucky I have been watching more closely then you have. I have seen her using her powers and soon she will not be able to be molded into what we need her for. We have to act as soon as possible in kidnapping her. I have given Cleo an ancient spell that will allow her to believe you are her mate but in order for this to work you will have to remark her as your own and keep remarking her once every month otherwise the spell will be broken by her true mates' mark." He paused waiting for me to digest the information he had just given me. "Sir, I don’t understand how would my mark work at all on her now, if she is marked by her true mate?" I mean I already know that once you are marked that is it, unless one of the mates decides to reject the other or they die. "Like I said it is an ancient spell, it can't break a bond that is formed especially that of a true mate, but it can suppress it to where the true mark will be faded and almost unseen to the naked eye. She will think you are her mate and wont be able to feel the pull to her true mate. Your mark will be the one everyone will see and the mix of your scents will be prominent to the other wolves, even her true mate. Like I said you have to remark her once every month until she is consumed by darkness or she will figure out what is up and turn against us and we CAN NOT afford that to happen. Now you will have those rouges attack that pack in the dead of night and take what is rightfully YOURS! Understood?" He sneered at me again when he said the last part, leaning down towards me with a s**t eating grin that screamed to defy him or say anything against his plans. I simple held my head high, like the Alpha I am and replied to him. "Yes my Lord, we make sure this gets done and we will have our MATE."   Ravannah stood back up straight and just before Cleo's eyes fully returned to back to normal, he left with a warning venom dripping from each word. "DO NOT FAIL ME GIDEON! I will have far too much fun with you in my torture chamber." He chuckled at his sinister threat before fading away. Cleo's eyes were back to normal and I stood up just in time to catch her before she fell. "Are you alright?" I asked her. She just looked up at me, "We have to do as he asks we cannot fail him." With that she passed out due to exhaustion. I mind-linked an Omega to take her to pack doctor, and then grabbed my phone and called Marcus. I filled him in and he would update me once the deed was done. I sat back and looked at my office, sighing to myself I called a few Omega's to come and help with the cleanup and redo my office. After that I sat out to Cleo's room where the doctor had her moved to once he made sure she was ok from the ordeal.   'Our MATE will be with us soon, don’t worry my human.' Hades said to me as we walked the hallway to Cleo's room. "I know but I have a feeling deep within me that something is going to go wrong." I told me running my hand through my hair and down over my face. 'Stay positive, she is OURS and we will have her no matter WHAT it takes!' Rom growled out the possessiveness he has for her already reverberating in his words.     Waverly's POV   I was still standing in the doorway looking at May. She just smiled and patted the seat next to her, while making me a cup of tea. "Come little one, let's have that talk about those dreams." she smiled once again at me and I slowly sat down. Before I could even ask her how she knew, she spoke to me again cutting me off. "Before you ask me how I know, it was in the book. Saying that you will have dreams of two futures, it is up to you which one will come to pass. Granted both are not the most ideal futures but one of them is a lot better than the other. To be honest it seems like a test of your loyalty to the light, but I could be wrong." I simple nodded my head and took a deep breath and started to explain to her the dream that seems like it will come to pass any moment now and I just couldn't bare for that to happen. 'Sweetheart, are you ok? Are you with May? I can feel your uneasiness and slight fear.' Xavier echoed in my mind. I forgot to put the wall up again. 'Yes all is ok my love. I am here with May and was just telling me more about Ravannah and it just made me a little anxious that is all. Do not worry.' I felt bad about lying to him but I needed to figure this out on my own, and make sure I can protect from myself if the time comes. "Alpha checking in on you?" May said while taking another sip of her tea. "Yes, I forgot to put up the wall to block my emotions and he felt me unease about this whole thing." I sighed this is weighing on me more than losing my parents, friends or even finding out I am a literal super human. I would give my life for these people, but all I see in my dreams is a future where they all die at my hands.   "Ok, that is a terrible future to keep seeing. It may be coming to pass sooner than we think. How long has this been happening?" May looked concerned as she picked up the Guardian book and looked through to see if it mentioned anything about this besides that I would be seeing two futures that could become reality. "Since my awakening and then they were every other day, but this week it has been every night. I don’t want this future we have to stop it. I will not allow myself to be the one to kill all of you or to stand an watch as I do in the dreams. The man that looks so much like Xavier and Ex-Alpha Carter is nowhere near as scary as the lady standing on my other side." I said with a shudder as I thought about them both with their wicked and satisfied sick smiles, to the way their black eyes were darker than a night when you couldn’t see the moon or stars. The way this darkness exuded from them, like it was them and not surrounding them. As I was in my thoughts a loud gasp came from May, I turned to look at her. "Did you say the man looked like the Alpha and the Ex-Alpha?" she asked me with a look or hate, rage, and mostly horror crossing her face. "Yes, I-I think that he is the old Alpha the one that was banished for killing his Luna and mate. By the look you are giving me I take it my assumption is correct." She stood up abruptly grabbing my hand and nearly dragging me out of her house in a heated fashion that was fear and knowing. "May, Stop. What is going on? Where are we going?" I said to her trying my best to stay upright as she was now in a full blown sprint to the pack house. "No time young Luna, we must tell the Alpha's and we have to figure out how to make sure he doesn't get you." May said almost breathless from running at her age.   As soon as we made it to the pack house we were greeted by my mate and his father. May must have linked them while we were running. "Alpha's" she said bowing slightly. "We need to get to your office and discuss what the Luna has told me today. It is IMPERATIVE that I tell you now."  Without hesitation they took us both to their office. Xavier held my hand the whole way trying to help calm my nerves, but the whole time I just kept thinking he was the one who would need to be calmed down once we tell them about my dream and the man in them.
