With wide eyes, Bill was not expecting that Ian would say that. He did hear it all right, right? Bill heard Ian say ‘stare at each other’ before Ian corrected himself. Instead of reacting to that and saying something out of that, Bill cleared his throat. He then moved closer to Ian.
Bill was taller than Ian so he slightly bowed his head to face Ian as he took Ian’s hands, grabbing them using both of his hands, trapping Ian’s hands with his, enveloping. Bill heaved another sigh.
“Ian. . .” Bill said. He was still mustering his courage to tell the guy everything he wanted to say. He would take it slowly and carefully with his words.
“Bill.”
“Ian. . . I really want to apologize for what I did last weekend, dragging you out in the middle of your date with Kurt. I. . . I. . . I just. . .” B
