A Messiah

Siin had Sat in wait of Doctor Allen. Who was the man that had embraced him in a warm hug in the morning. He had got to found out from the nurses , that the pregnant lady whom he had attended to at the store was the estranged wife of Sheikh Shagori,who was a notable billionaire. The sheikh had been in dire need of a male heir as his wife had already given birth four times without producing a male child. This had led the Sheikh to start keeping mistresses till he found Charlotte, who was an Australian model that had came to the Salda Kalif as a tourist. The two had met on a luxry island as both Sheik Shagori and Charlotte were lovers of luxry and had no issues spending money to attain ecstasy and pleasure. Her beauty had magneted the Sheikh who was old enough to be her father and it was his wealth and ability to spend money that made her fall in love in him . Two parties were very fond of each others company even though they kept Their relationship secret, from the public eye.

People who knew them all agreed that the Sheikh even loved Charlotte more than his matrimonial wife at home. The only issue everyone complained about her was her love for alcohols and hard drugs. Charlotte was an addict to getting high on hard drugs and the Sheikh had tried all means possible to stop her from engaging in harmful act especially when it was confirmed that she was carrying a male child. He had also cautioned her against driving at the influence of alcohol as it was prohibited and victims of such accidents was to be attended to with a formal police reports as alcohol was greatly frowned at In the Arab gulf. She had been returning from having some shots of Alcohol from the bar. When she loosed control of the staring and crashed into a metal signboard that stood rotund by the road. She had hit her head against the dashboard and passed out . The accident had resulted in a complication to her due pregnancy and she bled so much before she was being rushed to the hospital by well wishers. She died before a doctor could attend to her. The news of death reached her Husband, who drove hastilingly to the hospital to confirm the sad news.

" How dare you let a pregnant woman bleed to death because she had no police report ." Cried Shagori as he crashed to the floor after seeing the corpse of his beloved Charlotte. He could clearly smell the whisky she had been drinking and the cigarette she had been smoking, on her body and he knew everyone could smell it to. What he didn't know was that the doctors had not Declined to treat her. She was rushed to the emergency ward and had died before a doctor or nurse could attend to her. The head trauma and excessive loss of blood was too much for her to handle and she gave up the ghost.

" You could not even save the baby." Said Shagori as he jacked the head doctor on Duty.

" We are sorry sir. We did our best.but your wife was dead upon arrival . There was no how the baby was going to make it after spending lengthy minutes without oxygen. " Said the Doctor in an emotional tone.

" I am Shagori. You let my male heir die out of Negligence. By my Lord , this facility would be shut down after you loose the lawsuit which I will file against you. Show me who dares to mess with the tigers tail and go free. No one .No one at all!" Said Shagori and burst into an emotional tears. He let go of the doctor and began to Sub like a baby who had lost it's favorite toy.

The management of the hospital knew how powerful the Sheikh was . Arguing with such men was a waste of time as they always had their way with the corrupt judiciary. The only hope for them was to fall to their knees and beg for mercy.

" Please Sir, have mercy on us . We are totally sorry for the sad turn of events. Forgive us oh boss please be merciful to our plight. " Said the manager of the facility as he knelt down and held the legs of Shagori. The rest of the top management and all the staffs present follow suit as they knelt down in appology.

" My Son." Said the Sheikh as he cried and continued " you should have saved my Son at least. He was the heir to my empire. You loosers have no shame begging for mercy from a man who has lost two being that were most close to his heart." Said the infuriated Sheikh and stormed out of the facility in rage. He could be heard calling his lawyer and asking him to file a lawsuit against the facility. They all knew their days were numbered unless a miracle was at hand to save them.

Siin had Sat still listening to Doctor Allens narrative on what had transpired last night between the Sheikh Shagori and the Facility staffs.

" So that was what happened huh." Said Siin as he sipped a herbal tea from the saucer.

" Yes Mr Siin. So you could understand everyones joy when we hard you had saved the baby from it's mothers womb and kept it alive all through the night amidst the freezing temperature. You are indeed a Messiah. The Sheikh would be here anytime soon. He had flown back from China from a business meeting which he had cancelled just to see if his hair is truly alive. The infant is in sound condition so we have nothing to fear. We really owe you our jobs here. I am very sure the Sheikh would drop the charges against us when he sees the child who bears a striking resemblance to him." Said Doctor Allen in Glee.

" It's my pleasure sir . I did what I had to do. However I must urge to compel your staffs to confirm properly before shoving people in the freezer. I almost died there to . I woke up from the freezing cold and spent all night there. It's a miracle that me and the baby survived the ordeal. " Said Siin with a grin. He had picked up an opportunity to get some money as he also planned on asking for compensation from the facility for icing him when he wasn't yet dead.

" That's exactly why I called you in here. We appreciate what you did for us. And you have been merciful not to ask for any compensation from the facility. However we are not dumb so we have decided to show you our appreciation in our own way. " Said Doctor Allen and took out an envelope from his drawer.

Siin was silent in anticipation and said nothing but stared at the envelope.

" Here is thirty thousand Dollars. It's been gathered by cutting some parts of the salary, of all one hundred and fifty two workers of all the departments of the facility. I heard you use to clean windows. Well you can kiss that job good bye. This money is enough to give you a good life as long as you invest wisely." Said Dr Allen as he stretched the brown envelope to Siin.

The old Siin may have fainted in gratitude as thirty thousand dollars was a lot of money which he could not have saved even he worked for 20 years as a window cleaner. But the new Siin just smiled and collected the envelope . Nodding his head in gratitude.

" Mr Siin , is the amount too small for you . I can actually communicate your request to the staffs to raise some more dollars for you. " Said Doctor Allen who had expected Siins reaction to be like that of a poor man who had won a mega lotto.
